The tread and feel of this tire is far superior to others in the same category. I realize that spending a little more can increase my safety two fold and certainly is worth it. Although the tread wear and longevity is not quite a long term as other tires, this should be secondary to safety like traction in an emergency stopping situation. This tire can also be used on a track unlike most others, as it is top speed rated for those tight curves.
