This is nice cord however it is gold cord manufactured on top of a black interior. When I used the cord the black underneath showed in places making the gold cord look defective. Not a good buy due to gold cord over black interior.

This is described as being 6mm. I need 6mm. Cord I received is only 4mm!

Right out of the package the gold threads were revealing the black core threads that are under their thin covering. If the core had been yellow or even white it wouldn’t be so bad but the black is obvious and looks flawed when new, worse as the cord is used.

I wanted to try this rope on a vase I created with cardboard and masking tape. It turned out just right. The gold was a "bright" gold that matched perfectly the gold I painted on the background pedestals. I have 4 different hues of gold displayed in my living room so it was important for it to match where I placed it. I am pleased with the construction of the rope. Not too thin nor too thick. When cut, it is black inside. Finding this out I figured out a way to make it not show on my project.

I used this as cording for new curtain, and it was perfect. Color is a nice, shiny gold.
