This 2.8-ounce pulley uses a flat bottom profile to keep your prusik knot from being sucked inside, so you don't have to sacrifice a member of the rescue team to this minimal but essential task. Properly used, the Petzl Mini Prusik Minding Pulley can also facilitate solo rescues that would otherwise be nearly impossible without a partner to watch the prusik knot.

I've been climbing on petzl products for decades. Their products do what they are supposed to within established tolerances. They are well made, dependable and durable.

This is perfect for my application: adjustable lanyard for tree-climbing. I replaced the bigger model I bought originally (because of its claimed larger rope diameter capacity. I'm using 11.7 mm rope (Bluewater II plus static) in this mini pulley and it works fine - I thought the rope might be too big, but it's not.
