I think my dog loves his feeder more than me. It makes a subtle click sound maybe half a minute before it begins dispensing, and he always comes running. I meant to use it just for when I wouldn’t be home, but I use it every day. It’s been very reliable. It is nice knowing that he will still be fed on time even if I need to stay out late sometimes. Biggest disappointment is that the “low food” monitor failed very early on, so I need to remember to refill it regularly.

Easy to set up and program. Like that changes can be made easily to feeding schedule if needed.No issues with large dog, dog food. Portion sizes are accurate.

This has been one of the best purchases ever for my dog! It keeps the food fresh and it’s very intuitive to errors. Best part is I could put my own voice for feeding time when I’m not home to give my dog some comfort. Highly recommend!

Looked beautiful and substantial right out of the box. I’ve used a few automated dog feeders for my Newfoundland over the years. Sadly, this feeder pumps out only 1/4 of the kibble volume that it’s programmed to dispense—when it does work—although most of the time I’m alerted to an “air pump” failure and no kibble is dispensed at the meal times that we programmed via the app. We are disappointed and will be returning the item. It’s hard to understand how product quality can be so poor that a new device simply doesn’t function.

I am a young professional and travel a good bit. This feeding machine brings me lots of peace. I personally wouldn’t go 3+ days and solely depend on this machine to feed my dog without supervision for all those days. The main issue I have is when I test feed it with a quantity of food less than half of a cup, the machine said it successfully feed X amount of food. But I was sitting there watching no food being dispensed. So that told me the communication and the reality is not as reliable. And I learned that if you feed extremely small amount the machine won’t actually feed it even though the option is there. it doesn’t have a camera so there is no way to tell if the machine is actually feed the food if you are away.What I love about this is that it will feed 2 cups or more at once (I would recommend NOT feeding more than 2 cups at once even though larger feeding amount option is available b/c the kibbles can get stack up too much on the bowel and block the feeding funnel from being able to release all the food amount per your request) the good news is the machine will literally tell you that the food feeding funnel is being blocked and need cleaning (not in these words but you get the point). I went for this machine after many days of research is b/c it would allow me feed up to 2 cups. Even though it doesn’t have a camera, I was okay with it.Overall, it is a decently reliable machine if you would take a short few days trip out of town and have a friend or someone swing by middle of your away trip to drop in to quickly check on your pet, I think that is good and the machine help save you $$$$ of days of dog boarding.I feel entirely comfortable depending on this feeding machine if I’m only gone for a couple nights in near by area or grocery shopping after work or have event after work that prevent me from getting home during the evening I would manually feed my dog from my phone while I’m running around town. In these cases, I feel confident and at peace with the machine entirely. At lease with this review, you know for sure that the machine does not always accurately communicate to you the real results of feeding. Overall, 4/5.

The first six months the feeder worked well for my three cats. I bought this large size feeder because if I needed to leave for a week or two I didn't have to rely on my children to feed the cats. Just watch them. Anyways. After sis months the feeder started erring with unable to air pump with red light. Shook the kibbles about and made sure the lid was on tight and worked again until the error happened every time it fed the cats. I cleaned it as usual, made sure the seal was intact, all kibble remnants were removed, reset, refilled and made sure lid was on tight but nothing worked. Note: I did this every time I refilled. Now my unit will make a horrible sound all the sudden. I unplug and plug back in and it clears the noise. I contacted Petlibro, sent them videos as requested. They sent me a notification in the app what to do, which was pretty much what I had done already. That was all the support I received. I really did like this feeder. Still using it with all its faults till it just isn't usable.
