I have bad reactions to insect bites. And with O type blood, the mosquitoes love me. I have to be out doing work on our land and I use good boots and sprays all the time. These wrist and ankle pull on are a Permethrin treated barrier preventing anything from getting up my pants or my sleeves like the many ticks I’ve had and the spider bites. The tee shirts I bought from them are Permethrin treated as well and work great. They are light for summer use and have long sleeves the protect. I use the wrist gators over the end of the shirt and going inside my gloves but they would go over the end of your gloves if needed. My wife got the same set. She also got the shawl type wrap that is very attractive and women can wear them anywhere in multiple ways. It is treated as well. No smell and very safe. It’s the same Permethrin used to protect our soldiers. Highly recommended!

I wore these for 7 hours in the field. No ticks. I don't intend to wash them either, even though it says you can. Why take a chance. I only wear them when I am on field trips.

The protective gear keeps insects from entering clothing so the bites that itched for a week or so are prevented. I have been able to weed, gather fruit and all garden chores without suffering a week of itching.

I pulled the ankle cuffs on every morning before going out to do yardwork. Not once did I find a tick on my legs,A simple, non-spray solution.

Nice as a tick gator but seems useless at killing them. I placed 4 ticks directly on them from two species of tick and just watched them crawl around. When they'd get to close to my pant leg, I'd move them back down. After 5 minutes, I gave up and killed them on a rock.

They fit well. The belt is decent quality an I like the buckle. The main problem is that mosquitoes don't seem to care that I'm wearing these. I have gotten bites within an inch of the cuffs and gaiters. The gaiters might keep bugs out of my pants, but tucking them into my socks would too. Additionally, the description says "insect protection Registered to last up to the entire lifetime of the garment", but the package says 25 washings. So that might be true, if you only wash them 25 times before they breakdown.
