Great product. Heated the water exactly as noted. Great for a small aquarium

Seems to work fine so far. I have a separate thermometer in the tank, as I do with all of them. Most heaters with adjustable settings vary by a couple degrees, and this one is no different.

I got this for a little heater for my son’s fish tank to keep his fish happy and healthy. It works as it says it will, it hasn’t been inaccurate or hurt the fish at all, so that’s good. I haven’t had any issues with mine. It’s easy to set up and seems decent quality.

I've tried using this Pawfly 25w heater in my 4-gallon nano tank. After about 2 weeks of trying to get the temperature dialed in. I gave up.I had to buy an independent thermometer to monitor the heat output on this one and it's just more work than I really want to do with a heater. I want a heater that I can set, and be confident that it'll heat to that temperature - this was not doing that.I've found a new home for this heater in my aquatic plant-only tank.

So far, so good. Great price, love the protective casing, fits perfectly inside the filter portion of my tank so it’s out of sight.Temp output is not the same as the tank temp, but that can also be influenced by where I choose to keep my heater. Due to this I highly recommend an unaffiliated thermometer on any tank with this heater in. I keep it set at 83 to maintain a strong 79-80 degrees, with my thermometer on the opposite side of my tank to ensure the reading is accurate to the coolest portion of the tank. Temp is easy to monitor and set by comparing the digital screen on the heater to the temp reading.May further modify my filter kit and move things around; if that changes how the heater behaves I will update my review.

I got these for a couple small tanks. This heater keeps the temperature at what I set it at. I love that I can see the tank temperature without having to use a separate thermometer. These work great for small tanks!

Item reviewed: Pawfly 25W Fish Tank Heater Submersible Aquarium Heater Adjustable Electronic HeatingDate reviewed: November 26, 2024I like the size and build of this heater. I like that the cord has a thermometer and temperature control. I've had this in my five gallon tank for four days now, and it will not get up to temp (81). It's been at 80 the entire time. It is placed about three inches from a low-flow filter to ensure the warm water gets moved around. The thermometer has read 80 degrees all three days. And my tank thermometer reads 79 most of the time. I never see the green light on, on the heater, which leads me to believe it's not able to get to 81.I'll probably opt to swap it out for something more reliable.
