After looking all over the internet, parts stores, and stealerships for the OEM Ford cable equalizer and having no luck I bought this GM equalizer and it's almost identical to the damaged OEM equalizer I needed to replace.It's the same length, the only difference I remember is the cable stop at the front is at an angle on my OEM Ford part, whereas the stop on this part is vertical. I thought I had pictures on my phone of the two together for comparison but I can't find them. So the passenger side cable sits closer to the equalizer than it does with the Ford OEM part but it has no effect on cable operation.It's an almost identical, inexpensive solution to get your Ford Ranger parking brake working again.

This is an EXACT replacement for the equalizer on my 1997 Furd Danger DESPITE whatever smoke & mirrors the BIG 3 have obscuring the truth from us! Parking brake works like new! Previous owner mangled the original trying to disconnect it.

Its an exact OEM replacement, how can you go wrong ? Quality part made by the same manufacturer that made the one put on your car at the factory. My original failed on my car and was causing me not to be able to pass inspection. NO stores around my area had this obscure part in stock and wanted and arm and a leg to order it, which would be here in 10-14 days.... that didn't work for me. Punched it in Amazon boom prime delivery and wayyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy less then any brick and mortar store wanted. Thank you Amazon !
