Liked the ink, smooth and flowing. The plastic and color of the barrel are good, but the lines on the grip are uncomfortable and irritating. If they left the lines out it would be a perfect pen.

I bought these because I have an older version of the same pen, in name only I guess.I use them to write on folder labels. The older pens work perfectly.These new pens' ink smears when installing the labels, if you touch the writing.Total Garbage!Save your money and buy something the doesn't smear.

PaperMate never should have discontinued these! I was thrilled to see this old favorite style pen back and in neon barrel colors. It's a little less hefty than I recall the original being, but the ink is smooth and vivid. I'd love to see this back in all of the original colors, especially purple. 25 years ago I loved the capped version of this over click, but now I prefer click pens in general, so this was a perfect slice of nostalgia for me. I might buy another pack to be sure I have enough if they're retired again.
