I use these bits on my CNC machine when I want clean edges that I don't want to sand to much. I was very happy with the feed/speed I could use on these bits and still have a good clean cut.

Not a clean cut at all. Combo bits like this should give clean bottoms and edges but I got more tearout at the top than I do with just a regular upcut bit, and way too much chatter going across the grain. Played with feeds/speeds to no avail - the edges still looked terrible. I'll consider it a lesson learned and stick with my more expensive bits.

I bought these to cut parts out of 3/4” MDF. And they made clean cuts. However, they did not extract the saw dust out of the cut line, and left the dust packed in the cut. I followed the cut with a vacuum and pick to get the dust out before the next pass so I did not burn or smoke the bit. Down to 1/2”, the dust came out easy. It was the last quarter inch where it packed in.I was expecting the “up” part of the bit to extract, but maybe because the MDF made dust and not chips, it did not work as designed. It may work better in solid wood.

I use these in a CNC router. They really hold up well and stay sharp.

I have been looking for a compression (up and down cutting) bit for cutting thin plywood (1/8" and 3/8") and these have worked very well. Nice clean cuts for a good price!

I used these on 1/4" material, a pocket cut depth of only 1/8" then a full 1/4" profile cut. Both cuts came out perfect with no extra finishing work needed.

Finding down cutting 1/8" bits that cut over 1/2" is not easy. These are 22mm long so will cut thru 3/4" material if not pushed too hard. They are solving a problem with top side tear out in plywood, and cuts in hardwood are also very clean on the top surface. Haven't used them long enough to know how long hey will last. Price for package of 5 is good as well.
