Great heater. Very fuel efficient. Only used 1/4 gallon of fuel to run at 20% power for 12hrs. Gets as hot as propane/natural gas and has saved me a fortune on my heating bill this winter. Def recommend.

Did not work out of the box. No fuel pump action. Took it apart and found a glob of solder on the controller board. Picked it off and now works great. No smoke on startup. A little smell on shutdown from exhaust. Great garage heater with external venting.

This is a good heater, it does not give off much noise. It gets my uninsulated garage warm. In no time. It’s pretty efficient too. I’d buy another but I would get the tower one. This exhaust and air intake lines come out of the bottom. It has a short exhaust too.

Where to start?Yes. Let's start with the chinese bug inside the heater. This poor thing probably hitched a ride from China to my house where it got murdered. I do not need an introduced species in my backyard. The heater cover is a bad design. 12 screws for something that should be a latch for easy access.I wanted to see the inside of the heater before starting it, so I removed the screws and found the Chinese bug chilling inside the heater. Now the worst part. The diesel pumps seats fully horizontal under the diesel tank. The pump should be 30 to 45 degrees to evacuate the air produced by cavitation by the pump, but is dead horizontal. This will do two things. First, it will eventually create a bubble of air that will make the heater produce an error code, and in the long term shorten the life of the pump. The pump needs to be moved out of its position, and out of the casing of the heater, since the tanks sit on top of the heater and the air will tend to move up toward the tank instead of the heater. This is an all around terrible design. Finally, there is nothing securing the hose that runs between the tank and the pump, so if the person who assembled the heater was not careful, you will have massive diesel oil. If you purchase this heater check before adding diesel, otherwise buy something else.
