I purchased this to stream Pokemon from my switch to PC for a friend on discord. I never heard of the brand, but decided to buy it anyways. It has worked like a charm. No issues whatsoever from the card. I just wish there was software to configure a few options.

I’ve been using this captured card to stream on a two PC streaming set up for a few months. It has worked great ,captures an image well, my monitor doesn’t show signs of input lag. Only issues that I have had is the occasional red light that happens when I go to connect my computer when I accidentally sent the resolution to the wrong size. Anything that isn’t 1080 or 4K will cause it not to capture. Easy fix though. Overall, a great capture card and amazing for its price compared to these outrageous Elgato prices.

works great. needs NZXT app installed to use but I need to turn it off in order to have sound to have no static or cutting noise. as soon as i turn the app off it works flawlessly. no lag that I can feel.It gets pretty hot while using but I have extra 140mm fan laying around it to cool it which dont seems neccesary to do. Took 1 star off because of that app issue. so many people have problem but doesnt know its the app that is causing issue. found out while trouble shooting with NZXT but they havent fixed this issue yet.

I've used this for sharing my consoles with friends on discord and I played using the capture and i couldn't tell if there was any sort of delay.I also converted VHS tapes to digital and it worked great for that. (I needed AV to HDMI adapter for that)

Yes, you can capture 1080p 240hz hdr. I m currently capturing 1080p 120fps hdr with this device, perceptive lag is 0, you can see instant motion when using passthrough also. You may face hdr issue while setting up the device, use extend display and then in setting turn on hdr on your card.

How can it be that a company like NZXT is shipping a product that simply does not work out of the box? Additionally, in speaking with support it looks like there are multiple possible points of failure from power disruption to firmware issues without any failsafes. Nevermind the capture signal cannot be detected on OBS, even the external output bypass signal doesn’t come through.Still working with support and might update this review to 2 stars if it gets resolved.

Used a Nikon z30 fully setup properly (trust me you’ll know what)I was completely unable to get the nzxt capture card to use the 4k resolution coming off the camera. I called nzxt and even they said I had it fully setup right and said it sounds defective. It was stuck in 1080p /60.I tried everything they said plus more.I went to Best Buy today and bought a elgato 4k x capture card…. Literally changed nothing! Not even the cables. I used the same everything, same camera settings, same obs settings, same same same.Guess what… elgato for the win. If you care about 4k don’t use the nzxt. Also even though it said it was recording at 60fps, it was pretty choppy. Felt more like 30.1/10

It’s not a bad system especially compared to other cards on the market. I only have a few complaints so I will get those out of the way.First, setting this thing up is a nightmare. There is little to no instructions online on how to actually get this thing working on OBS and you will have issues getting audio to work if you have any digital audio cables.Second, if you have this plugged into a console you HAVE to have your computer on because the pass through won’t work without power from the PC.Third, you have to plug this in to a SPECIFIC USB port. Which in and of itself is not a problem but the only place it says this is in very small writing on the box and in the middle of a clump of text online. However once you get past all of the negatives it’s actually a really nice product. Good 4K video with very little latency. There’s very little I think could be done to improve it except it could do with some kind of setup video by NZXT from what port to plug it into to how to set it up in OBS with audio.

I use this to stream from my computer to my laptop and it has been glorious. Plug and play, no need for any apps, and it works on both windows and mac. I originally had an avermedia live gamer portable plus 2, which was okay but once I started streaming 1080p, I realized it has a lot of artifacting (probably due to it's usb 2.0 interface). This has been a very solid replacement, especially for the sale price. It works exceptionally well.

So I bought this and everything was great preformed well! The sleek black color was nice, Very easy to Installation just plug and play. The sounds quality wasn’t great but I have a simple fix for that! Before you spend hours searching the internet for the solution. Just use an aux cable from your controller if you are on console or iPad. For older system such as the ps2 and older I would recommend getting an elgato HD60 until NZXT fix the audio issues with the card!I hope this helps someone

No driver needed, works on Windows and Linux without any problems. There's a very small delay to the recording software I'd say under 100ms, some games would still be playable through the recording preview, but it's still recommended to use the pass-through. Quality wise, it looks better to me than an Elgato capture card and it's cheaper!

My Nvidia only has 1 HDMI and the rest are Displayports. It didn't work from the beginning until I reread the Instructions and I got it working. I don't have a second monitor for my Gaming PC, mainly my Streaming PC. I hooked up the HDMI to my Monitor and works perfectly. I connected the USB to my OBS? 100% quality!Allow me to show how I got it all working.I have a Gsync monitor with 4K and this NZXT is 4K 24hz. Terrible hz in my opinion of rmy monitor. So I hooked back up my Displayport and disconnected the HDMI while I have the USB hooked to my streaming PC. On my OBS I was able to see the main screen using Clone.I played my Sniper Elite V2 remastered game to record to my OBS. OHHH Man the Quality is fantastic! The 4K is not bad! It was slow on my Main monitor but not my OBS. Everything looked good! I use to stream and record my gameplays using Teleport and NDI. Horrible. NDI Sound was soo bad. Teleport Quality was horrible. I hooked to my POE. Didn't do much of a job connecting 2 PC's. I also played Path of Exile while recording, lag was so bad. But I thank God for the NZXT that did the job! I did some research first by a streamer who told me about Game Capture card. I checked the reviews with 2 different Capture Cards and this one? Took the cake! So I bought it, with 2 Better 4K HDMI's (I figured I needed it) and 3.5mm Aux Cable. Yea I already figured the sounds won't work through the 4K60FPS so I was ahead of it.Everything checks out and works perfectly for me after some recording tests. How do I give this rating? 10 out of 5 stars. Thank you!
