I use that in place of my glass measuring cups. It's lighter and I can drink out of it after I mix up my drink. It's dishwasher safe.

This does the job BUT I have handwashed the numbers on the side off in a very short time. They are not accurate anyway. The mixing piece inside is thin and delicate compared to the Tupperware name brand version. I don't think I would put it in a dishwasher but it does mix well. I mainly use this for easy pouring, not necessarily as a shaker. Works great otherwise.

Don't waste your money. Shaker works great if you are a superman with strong muscles! I had to use a mallet to pound on the lid!! And yes the tab was in notch! To get lid off be prepared to spill contents as well!! Cannot return because it is used. Will buy another brand. VERY DISAPOINTED!! Buy one with a screw on lid.

This is a perfect replacement for an ancient purchase that finally failed and is no longer available. Essential for making gravy the old-fashioned way and now useful for protein shakes.

I've had my shaker approximately 5 months and the plastic has gotten so stiff that it's impossible to get the lid on. It worked good for awhile but now it's useless.

Our old Tupperware shaker lid was so badly cracked that it could no longer be used. We found this on and it is just like the old one. The disc inside is a bit thinner and may not hold up as long as the old Tupperware one but it works just fine. I kind of wish I had thought to save that piece just to see if it would fit. We primarily use ours for making instant pudding, but it would be good for mixing flour and water for sauces, or pancake batter. Lid stays on tight (it’s a little hard to snap it down). It does not leak and is easy to use.

It's important to note that the lid has a little tab that has to fit up with the notch in the bottle so that the lid will snap on. Once you learn how to do that, the lid goes on easily. The pouring lid needs to be all the way forward to snap into place. Overall, I really like this shaker. I use it to measure out water for the hummingbird food I make as well as for salad dressings and gravy made from scratch.

It has a tight fit when out together, however, it could be a bit challenging taking it apart to clean if not lined.
