It’s not 95% polyester - it’s 95% cotton. The tiny bit of spandex doesn’t provide much stretch

I bought this dress for a sock hop. I am a size 8 and ordered a medium. It was too tight. I returned the dress and ordered a large. It fit perfectly except for the belt which was too big in both sizes. The dress is well made. I received a lot of compliments on it.

I thought I would die when I bought a 4XXL (Im a size 16) but it fit perfectly so I am assuming they just run super small.The dress is so cute!

Wow! I got so many compliments with this dress! Perfect for vintage costume! I wore this for a 50s theme school dance. I wore a petticoat underneath to flare it out. It fit perfectly! I am 5'0 128lbs. Good quality. I had to steam it, it was wrinkled from being folded.

After reading the most recent reviews, I went with a smaller size. The dress is cute but incredibly thin. It’s not structured at all. Even then, I would have kept the dress for Barbie if it had fit over my nice petticoat. It’s barely an A-line, let alone a 1950s style circle skirt. Super disappointed. It barely sat over the top of my petticoat and squished it down. If you don’t care about accuracy and you are ok with the skirt laying flat, it might work for you. My measurements are 37, 29, 38 for reference. The size worked fine, but it’s going back.

This dress is pretty, and a good price for the quality. I have a couple issues with the way it is made. First, the dress is cut where the waist hits right under my chest and i am only 5'3" and a B cup... and for a typical A line, the top part could be longer to be more flattering. I looks like it makes you shorter instead of longer. There is also a bit of a messed up seam on the skirt, but I sew and can fix that. The other problem is the belt. Its not really even a belt. Its a piece of fabric with pop rivets in it. It is very flimsy, does not hold its shape well and really long for the dress. It is a constant pain with repositioning it. So I would buy a red belt to go with it. Overall, the top is like a thick knit jersey material and the bottom is a tightly woven cotton. It is pretty and great quality for what I paid for it.

Pretty much the same result as almost everyone else that bought this dress, the bottom half fit, the top half was way off. Inquired about returning the dress but the seller was not to interested in going that route. The seller did make the offer to keep the dress, measure my daughter and they would send me another one that would fit which was awesome. In the end, my daughter said it was to low cut for her to be comfortable with anyway so I just took the 30 dollar hit so they did not have to send another dress my daughter wouldn't wear anyway. Had I read the reviews before purchasing the dress I would have known. Im all fairness the customer service was really top notch, This poor review is not a result of the customer service, This is strictly a result of the dress not being what its suppose to be. Yes, I did see the message to use their sizing chart and it was still was off so hopefully this will help someone.
