I just finished installing these CV Axels on a 2005 Honda Rancher ES. The previous set was the original OEM axels so these have a lot to live up to. The build quality and material looks and feels good. The installation would have been a breeze except for the fact they would not seat correctly due to the extremely cheap C-clips that are provided. They are way over sized with a sloppy fit and will not allow the axel to be seated properly. I removed and tried to reshape the however they just bend right back out when putting them back on as seen in my included picture. These should be made from a decent quality spring steel so they hold and do not loose their shape when removed or put on. I ended up removing the quality OEM c-clips and using them. Once they were in both of these axels went right in with little effort. Ran the quad for about 10 minutes in dirt and on the road and the front end felt smooth.Giving 4 stars due to the C-clips being garbage which is a big deal for obvious reasons, and because if of unknown long term durability. If I get half the life from these as I did the OEM using the machine for light ranch work and winter plowing then they will be worth their price.I recommend these only if your broken axels still retain a useable C-clip if not then these aren’t going in with the clips they provide.
