This is a textured tile. So if you are looking for a smooth tile, this is not for you. If you want texture. It probably will do the job

Going with the cons first: obviously, the adhesive sucks. I tested one tile on a clean, dry, flat, horizontal surface. Laid the tile down, waited an hour--the tile easily peeled right back up. I then weighted it with a one-gallon jug of water, waited 24 hours--still peeled up. Replaced the water jug, waited a week--no go. The next "con": if you're going to be using this for floors, it had better be for a Barbie Dream House. These tiles are super thin and fragile. The composite layer is brittle, and the finish layer is paper-thin. These would never hold up to even light foot traffic. Con #3: I don't think these tiles are perfectly square--I found it difficult to line them up without an obvious seam. So, you ask, why give them a three-star review? Well, my project involved putting them on the kitchen walls above my cabinets, so I knew I was going to use Liquid Nails anyway. Because the tiles are thin, they were easy to cut using kitchen scissors. They are a beautiful bright white, which reflects the lamplight and makes that area less murky. The shiny finish makes it easy to wipe clean with a damp microfiber cloth, which was an improvement over the walls themselves.

The bad reviews are accurate. Bought these for about 400 sq ft of my kitchen and dining room. I was expecting damaged tiles as the reviews said so I ordered a couple boxes extra. Not only were some tiles damaged from poor handling but at least one tile per box was damaged during manufacturing. They had holes in them, wrinkled, and even melted looking.I had to add additional adhesive to get them to stick down even though the adhesive on the tile was well coated. The adhesive on the tiles doesn't dry so when the tile starts to curl up the adhesive just lets go of the subfloor. Extremely annoying.Beyond the poor quality management these are impossible to clean. I was able to get the adhesive residue off (spent hours on my hands a knees scrubbing) but they stain! The tiles are so badly stained and I can not find anything to get them clean. I'm about to rent a floor sander (orbital works but takes forever) and throw a coat of poly over the floor.Worst investment ever. I regret purchasing these tiles with every ounce of my soul.

Our kitchen granite guy got us a deal on granite counters for the bathrooms, so we went ahead and replaced the old ones when we bought our house. Mistake. Should have gutted the bathrooms, as we did with the kitchen. So instead we painted the cabinets a classic white and added nice hardware, which just left the insides looking shabby. Peel and stick white glossy tiles to the rescue! It was quick and easy to line the bottom of the cabinets with these tiles. Now I am a long-time watcher of This Old House, so I knew how to scribe the end tiles to fit the out-of-square cabinets, which was not a big deal. There are most probably youtubes which show you how. I recommend laying the tiles out with the backing still on them first, so you can see how they will fit, and what is out of square, and cut them with the backing still attached. I used a utility knife and a ruler to score the tiles and bent them to snap along the score line. For tiny cutouts, I used a scissors. The tiles are very sticky once you peel the backing, so line them up carefully before you lower them, and certainly before you apply any pressure.A cheap and easy way to make a surface clean, fresh, and crisp!

Well, I had researched new tile for our kitchen on the WWW. There was a wide range of products available at a wide range of prices. The tile we choose was the white tile referenced here and a matching black tile.. The product was to be furnished to us by a company called "DYNAMIX", a "Amazon" partner, whom I did not know.In the process of ordering, we decided to purchase an extra box of tile for each color for future use in case of damage or other future issues unknown. The tile arrived on time, and was easy to lay. No problems, no issues. All was good. Floor looked beautiful! But as you can imagine, accidents happen. About 6 months after the floor was installed, I was just removing a hot 6" x 9" glass pan from the oven and dropped it. It seems like it was in slow motion, as I tried to catch it, but needless to say it hit the side of the kitchen sink, and then shards hit the new tile floor damaging it. My wife heard the commotion and came running in and was heartsick to see that her beautiful new tile floor now had cuts in a few of the tiles."Not to worry", says I, "Remember we ordered extra, and I will replace them". Mr Hero.I went to the storage area where the boxes of extra floor tiles were stored, and opened the white box all prepared to fix my terrible mistake. However, as I removed the first tile, I noticed that is was flawed, discolored. "Oh, Oh" I thought, "I hope they all are not this way". But they were.I was disheartened to think that I now would have to buy another box of tiles, because it had been way past the time for returns and problem solving. However, I thought I would contact the dealer, "DYNAMIX", through "Amazon" and explain the issue to see if anything could be done. To my great surprise, once "DYNAMIX" understood what had happened, they sent me a replacement box at their expense including the freight. Can you imagine a vendor doing that?Well I am astounded at their generosity and customer care. You know, I really trust "Amazon" based on my now 10 year experience with them, and that trust is so much enhanced when a vendor like "DYNAMIX" does for me the customer what in fact they did not have to do.Kudos to "DYNAMIX" and to "Amazon". By the way, the new tiles have arrived, in perfect condition and no flaws, and I will be replacing the damaged one as a surprise to my wife this weekend.Thank you Amazon and Thank you 'DYNAMIX"
