After reading the reviews, I ordered one size smaller. My size is 8, so I ordered 7. But it came so fat, so loose especially around the ankle. See picture. They are made for elephants. And they are not returnable.

I purchased these neoprene socks to wear on a trip down the Grand Canyon with my water shoes. The first two days of the trip were wet, cold, and rainy. These socks were wonderful. My feet were wet but warm. Also, I hiked with wet feet and I did not experience any problems with blisters or sore spots. Per the reviews, I bought a smaller size. I normally wear a women's 8-1/2 and I order a size 7. Fit perfectly. I would highly recommend them. I will use these for fishing and hiking now.

These are fine. Bought 2 pairs (self and wife.) They worked through 2 weeks in Hawaii with near daily wear. Wore mostly as a fin sock but also some walking in and out of the water. No tears or bad seams. Understand they are neoprene SOCKS not booties. They pack easy and dry pretty fast. Fit was as expected but that's cause I bought them 1.5 to 2 sizes small. Nothing negative to say about them.

I actually ordered these socks to go under my athletic shoes when I walk on the beach. I wear a size 9-1/2 in women's and I ordered a size 8. It is too big by about an inch. I can, however, wear it over my regular socks for a good fit. The reason I want to wear these socks with shoes is that sand gets in my shoes then gets into my socks. I get a gritty feeling between my toes and it makes a long beach walk uncomfortable. The sock isn't overly thick and it seems well constructed.

Two different sizes; 4 and 5. Both felt sloppy on my feet ( when dry) even though they seemed to fit. Neoprene is 80% and probably not strong enough when used in water. I got another pair with 90% neoprene and they felt much stronger and as I have now worn this new product int he water, I can say they are perfect for me.

Just used for 10 days snorkeling in USVI every day. Worked very well. None of the usual chafe on my toes. True to size, size 10 in shoes and water socks. I ordered smaller sizes and returned bc they were uncomfortably tight. Less sand in the sock if I put them on in the water, more if I entered wearing the socks from the shoreline. Easliy removed with a quick slip off/on once.

I'm a men size 8.5-9 and I bought a 7 which stretches and fit perfect. Not loose enough for it to fall off easily and not tight that it feels constricting.Also bought size 4 for my wife who is a size 5.5 and it fits well too.The recommendation to go 1.5 to 2 size down (I believe even 2.5 size down will still fit) is correct and accurate unless you have wider than standard feet then you may consider getting just 1 size down.These are neoprene material and stretches very well. I would expect them to loosen up a little more after few time of wearing so selecting sizes down is the way to go.I would also recommend that these be worn as socks and to pair them with wet shoes, wading shoes/boots or hiking sandals as they are too thin to just walk around without tearing or damaging them.

nice, thin socks. very comfortable.Just an update after a couple uses. This item is like thick socks. Just to clarify, they are NOT like boots - so don't get confused. They are not as form fitting as water boots - they don't have a high enough neoprene content, or thickness. They do not have much of a sole - I would not consider these something to wear across the sand. You will wear them out pretty quick that way. They are meant to be worn with your flippers in temperate waters just to prevent uncomfortable rubbing. They will not give you much if any thermal protection because they definitely allow a good amount of water exchange while wearing them. Other reviewers have mentioned ordering a size smaller. I think that would make a snugger fit - especially for women. I bought for both male and female, and if I ordered again, I would order a size smaller for both.

The fit is a little loose as I wear a 8.5 with a wide foot and got a 9 so that is expected. I think the 8 would have been a little tight however. Used them for a river trek up the narrows at zion this last summer, and they performed pretty well. I think that If I were to do it again I would spend the time and money fitting a pair to my feet that were also were a little taller to keep the rocks out. Walking up a cold fast moving river with lots of small rocks getting in the boots makes for a long day having to stop and dig the rock. But overall I think that these perform well for the money.
