The small fit me perfectly. I’m a ladies 7.5 - 8. Good seal around ankle.

I really liked these water socks (5mm) at first, comfortable and warm. I like not having a hard sole so I can feel the board better. Unfortunately they breakdown pretty quickly from the inside sole and don't provide initial warmth any longer. I've probably only used them 10 - 15 times; definitely won't last a short California winter. I think an added, stronger layer at the bottom of the sole (inside the sock/boot) would make these much better and more durable. I think this is pretty common with most water socks and boots with soft soles like these have. I also have NeoSport gloves and love them.

I'm a size 15/16 and I bought the XXL. They fit great and slip on/off easily even with damp socks.I bought these to replace the booties on my Simms waders. They're just too damn small for my big feet. These are well made and I'm happy with my purchase. Time to get gluing!

A simple vista se ven muy bien pero son muy olgadas por lo que les entra mucha agua a pesar de ajustarla con el traje completo.

I got these to use while Stand up Paddling here in Tenn. I used them today and because of the wind, some water had collected on my board. I was standing and kneeling in a small amount of water and never felt any water on my feet. They are comfy and stretchy so they do not restrict movement. Very comfy. I wear a size 8 1/2 w/ a narrow foot, and they fit well, although they are bit loose on the sides so would accommodate at least a normal width foot. I'm very happy I bought them.Update: It's in the 40's here and I've used these now 3-4 times. Today I left my thick wool socks under the booties. My foot is narrow so I had room. Again, not a drop of water permeated the booties. My socks stayed dry! Again, not submerging in water, but standing/kneeling on my board in a small amount ofVERY COLD water. So good.

Nicely made and fit as I'd expected. My 10 year old son is a 4.5 shoe and I got him the XS. I wear a ladies 7.5 and I fit the small. My 13 year old son wears a man's 11 and the large fit him. We used them on the beach during March so a bit chilly. They definitely kept our feet warm and made the cooler water and sand feel much better, but I don' think they are really made for walking around as the rubber "grips" on the bottom had worn off by the end of the week. My kids will use them with their water sandals when they go into the creek to keep rocks and things out. They loved them. I found mine to be very comfortable. Maybe a but pricey.

These fit good in size 10 Keen sandals. Not tight or constricting at all. I tried my friends 2mm version of these socks and they too fit good in size 10 Keens but were a slight bit snugger but not tight. These fit light a light weight sport sock while the 2mm version fit more like a heavy weight sport sock. I would not got more than 2mm though if worn in Keen Sandals. I plan to test these in cold rivers that flow into Lake Superior in October when the temperatures are in the 30s F at night and 40s in the day. I will be river hiking so will be in and out of the water for hours. I will update on their warmth later. Walking across my cold basement tile floor I felt very little heat transfer when normally my feet are cold and uncomfortable. If you are deciding between the 1.5 mm and 2 mm thickness because you need warmth but are afraid the 2mm will be too tight, go with the 2mm. The difference is negligible at least with the Keen sandals I tried them in. The qualify seems good with good stitching. I expect these will last for a while. My only complaint is the seam on the inner sole seems to rub and irritate just a bit. I turned them inside out which helped slightly. I took a star off for this.Update 10/20/14I used these for the first time for their intended purpose and I was happy with them. I bought these to river hike near the North Shore of Lake Superior in the fall since the water is freezing by then. Daytime temps were in the mid 40s and the water was stinging cold. These socks under Keen Sandals postponed the stinging by about 10 seconds with the feet submerged. However, they allow your feet to heat back up after getting out of the water which you can't do with bare skin in cold air. For this reason alone they were well worth the money spent on them. I wish I would have went with the 2mm though. These will not work for keeping the feet warm under water for long. It became painful after about 20 seconds. I also added another start from 4 to 5 since the seam irritation is unnoticeable after you start hiking with them on. You don't even pay attention anymore. As an added bonus these keep the rocks out of your Keen sandals.

I love these things. They have kept my feet warm so far this deer season, and they are wayyyy less expensive than sealskins or goretex socks, and they are MUCH more comfortable. I have owned just about every kind of booty for trying to keep my feet warm. I have bought just about 1 pair of everything out there, I think. The only downside to these is they ARE neoprene, so if your feet sweat, your feet will be moist inside the booty/sock. You will be wet, but they will stay warm, and your feet will stay warm, in my experience. I put on a medium pair of wool-type socks, these socks over that, and then my insulated felt pack boots. I am size 11 foot, and the XXL fits almost perfectly over 1 pair of socks for me. Also, when I go back to the hunting cabin, I turn these inside out and hang them about 3 feet from the woodstove about 4 to 6 feet high, and they dry very quickly. I would warn against getting them too close to any intense heat source. Overall, very, very good for my purposes, even tho I realize this is not their intended purpose.

I wear a medium or a large if I want a loose fit. I purchased an XL to make sure there was plenty of room to go over my socks. I probably could have gotten away with a large but these work well.Socks are well made. Since made of neoprene they keep the water out. I tested by putting on a pair of socks then put these over top. Put my feet in water and the socks kept the inner socks dry. Moisture will still get though the top so don't submerge past the top opening.I wear these all the time now. I used to have cold feet in the winter, but now I can wear my summer sneakers in 30F weather and not even feel the cold on my feet. I will probably get another pair one of these days.Oh, and these may be good for scuba diving too.
