Just bought an old cottage and this is going on the front door! I will spray it matt black though, as the silver-ish finish is a bit poor. I'd have preferred it to be made out of metal rather than resin, but it is what it is. Also, I would have preferred mounting holes drilled all the way through instead of hooking it over screw heads, as it means that it can just be lifted off the door. I'm going to drill it and screw it securely! Lemmy is God!

The item itself is just about perfect - for indoors.I have bought several door knockers in the same transaction and they have through-screw holes for securely attaching the knocker to the outside door -this has a picture hook. How rubbish and disappointing.The delivery was sub-standard but this is outside of the sellers control.

Bought for husband who is an avid collector of Motorhead stuff. It was to put with his collection but I came home from work and it was on the front door. Every single person who knocks on the door comments on it! I have no idea where he produced the little ace of spades from though, but it works!
