can’t say yet, washing is a necessity, otherwise they smear on glass. once washed they shrink considerably and i’ve been hesitant to use after leaving so much residue and smearing on my windows and mirror.

Overall a good product for its use. Colour doesn’t match and after washing they do not retain shape at all thus do not stack neatly when folded. I use them for the kitchen during meal prep so as not to dirty/stain my kitchen linen so they work well for that purpose

Saving me money by not having to buy a lot of paper towels. Washed well without a lot of shrinkage. I bought white and green. The green ones the color bleeds so be careful what you wash them with.

This product was primarily bought for cleaning inside the house, as I needed a durable rag for the windows and for cleaning the furniture with pledge. These work perfectly! If they get royally messed up,it is easy to toss them away and get new ones, but currently I have used a few of them several times cleaning the furniture and they handle the job perfectly! Very absorbent!

I purchased these particular ones for my sister. She chose orange so she could keep her kitchen/indoor rags separated from her husbands outdoor rags. I purchased mine years ago (blue) to keep my bathroom rags separate from my kitchen rags. I also love the fact that they are cotton and not microfiber. Microfiber is not good for the environment. The first several times you wash these you may want to wash them alone (or now with lighter colored items), the color will bleed.

The blue shop rags I am reviewing I happen to use primarily as napkins.I don't need nor care for anything fancy. I actually despise linen napkins as they are not at all absorbent. On top of that, I have had some that just stain up immediately, so they look like junk anyway that I spent too much money on. These are cheap, and do what I need. Wipe my face and hands! These aren't for company. I am not stuffing them in napkin holders. I didn't need anything huge. I am just wiping my face and hands. Yet I don't want to keep on using up paper napkins or paper towels. Not interested in basic body wash cloths either. I wanted something that stands out from all the other materials coming out of the washer and dryer. Sometimes I use these to wipe up the counter real quick if I hadn't really used these during dinner (--- on the couch! see, nothing fancy here!). So yeh, I basically keep a pile of them folded up in a small box kept on top of my fridge. I grab one as I need it.One star off for the insane amount of washing I had to do to them before the ink bled out enough for them to be safe with other materials in the wash. I wouldn't even use them in or on my truck as they bled with any fluid on them from the get go. They go from a really cool vibrant blue to eventually a worn out, washed out denim blue. At that point it seemed they were done bleeding out color. Significant shape and size loss- but I don't hold it against them, they are after all cotton shop rags. But the description says they are 14"x14" to start with expected minimal shrinkage. I would say they reduce to maybe 10x10, super thin, with curling. Large enough to wipe my face, not so much to wipe down my truck.Alas, they really are working out well for my primary use as napkins. I like the size (even with shrinkage), would have been cool if they kept their color, but really I don't care. I am just glad they are absorbent and have enough texture to engage in some light scrubbing action as needed.

These towels are just about useless. I have for decades used the standard white terry cloth towels from auto-parts stores in packs of 12 or 24. Lately, the price has increased dramatically, so I thought I'd look for a less expensive alternative. These are not a valid alternative. Firstly, they are nowhere near the size described of 14" x 14". At best, a select few out of the 25 pack were roughly 11" x 13" before washing. The majority of them were closer to 10" by 10", with some as small as 9" x 9", very inconsistent sizing. The material is incredibly thin, more or less see through (think speaker grill cloth), and has little to no 'nibs' on the surface, like a normal cotton towel would. It's more like a cheesecloth. As such, the fabric is the opposite of the 'highly absorbent' quality described in the product description. It doesn't pick up jack squat. Just to wipe up a small amount of water, you'll be making about 20 passes back and forth across the surface, smearing everything as you go. What a horrendous joke for the listing to say you can 'dry an entire care with only one towel'. Sure, as long as it's a Matchbox Car! They might be fast drying - because they never pick up anything! Regarding the 'machine washable', I guess that's true - if you don't mind the colors bleeding horribly over everything else in the wash. I could say these are about as good as the red shop rags you get from Harbor Freight, but that would be a lie - they're much worse.Do not be duped by the good reviews and very low price, look for something else!
