The seat is very comfortable now. Way better then the original especially if your going on a long ride. Well worth the money for a custom seat

Love this seat!!! Soft but not slippery. Great cushion. Makes the rebel 500 even more of a dream to ride. I feel so much more secure and in place with the seat. With the stock seat I noticed myself shifting around multiple times while riding. Bonus, made in the USA 🇺🇸 🤘🏼

After riding my Rebel 500, I determined that the stock seat is one of its weak points. After looking at some other people's reviews I pick this seat. This is by far a massive improvement over the stock seat. I can now ride for easily two hours or more. whereas before after about 40 minutes, my tailbone would start to hurt a little.Installation is easy it took me about 30 minutes to remove the stock seat and install this one. Thought it may take longer if you do not have a long-handled Allen wrenches set. as the bolts are hard to get to on the new seat

I wish I could rate the seat as a 5, but ran into an installation issue and a have a couple of gripes with the manufacturing process. Here are the pros and cons:Pro - The Mustang seat is wonderful. The OEM seat sucks and my butt was sore after 30 miles. The Mustang seat lets me ride 100+ miles in total comfort. The support, padding and width are perfect. This is the type of seat that Honda should have put on the bike before it left the factory.Pro - When installed, the Mustang seat makes the bike look a whole lot better than the OEM because it fills the gaps between the tank and back tube brace. Again, Honda should consider using this style of seat as OEM.Con - I have a 2022 Rebel 500. I know Mustang says it only fits Rebels 2017-'21 on Amazon, but it SHOULD fit a '22 because I don't think Honda made some decision that changed the width of the seat mounts for that year. BUT, the screw holes on the seat brackets were 1/8" too narrow to align with the bike mounts. I took a Dremel metal bit and elongated the seat holes (more oval than round) and that fixed the problem. I chalk this up to a Mustang manufacturing defect.Con - Mustang includes smaller hex mounting bolts with the seat which renders the wrench included with the bike useless. I just used the OEM bolts to fasten the seat to the bike.Con - Unlike the OEM seat, there are no washers on the brackets on the Mustang seat. I added rubber washers between the seat brackets and bike mounts to remedy this, but for the price Mustang should add some sort of rubber mount on the brackets.Summary - It is a beautiful and comfortable seat that is worth the higher price. But Mustang should either change the size of the mounting bolts included with the seat to match the OEM size or just dump them and tell buyers to use the OEM bolts instead. And add rubber mounts to the brackets so the seat isn't bolted to the bike metal on metal.

I know it says '17-'21, but I bought this for my 2022 Honda Rebel 300 and it fits just fine. I, however, used the stock bolts/screws from the original seat. The ones that came with the mustang seat.... let's just say they didn't work and I became impatient trying to get them to work. I hope using the stock screws doesn't affect anything or fly off during a ride. Fingers crossed!Anyway, this is far better than the stock seat. It's much more padded and it does "fit" you into the motorcycle better. At least it feels like that to me. I also feel less vibration in higher speed (55+ mph). Keep in mind I have a 286(ish)cc motorcycle--it gets a bit buzzy at cruising speed.I'm super happy with it and I'm glad it doesn't really change the look of the motorcycle. When I upgrade to a rebel 500 or 1100, I will be taking this seat with me and hope it fits on the newer model :)

This seat is so much more comfortable for the rebel 500 than the stock seat (which felt like concrete after an hour of riding). Pretty easy to install after jiggling the bolts into place.

Amazon and Mustang customer service told me that this seat would not fit a 2023 Honda rebel. Since there’s such thing as a return policy, I bought the seat anyway as the stock seat was terrible after 30 to 40 minutes.I’m happy to say that the seat fits just fine, took me about five minutes to take the old seat off and put the new Mustang seat on. It’s a world of difference. The only thing I noticed is that I tend to slide closer to the gas tank than with the stock seat, other than that this seat fits and is very comfortable

The price is ridiculous but my god is it worth it. I couldnt ride for 20 minutes on the stock one without needing to fluff my buttcheeks like a flat pillow. It does require you to break it in, the initial "out of the box" feeling wont blow your mind, but you will notice that your tailbone isnt sitting on that frame bar instantly. Takes a few hours to break in and then youll realize its brilliance.I can ride for hours now and I genuinely believe if you have to do anything to your Rebel, it is this.Install was easy, I have a 2021 500, same set up as the stock one, I kept the stock bolts.I do have a complaint aside from the price! The stock seat has clips on the bottom for your manual AND tools where I put my registration and such, this seat does not have that which is frankly unacceptable for the price. Id knock off a star for that if my butt wasnt so happy.

This is the seat the bike should come with. It's definitely more comfortable than the stock seat took it for a 40 min rip right after installing and no numb bum.I am 5' 10 and I find that I now have a bit better reach on the clutch and front brake.I was skeptical that it was going to look good but I am happy with it.100% compatible with a 2020, only minor gripe is that the hex key stored on the bike is not compatible with the included screws. Also if you care there is no storage for the included tools.

Good deal. Fits the Honda Rebel 500 without problems. If getting a bit picky I would say the screws aren’t as good and practical as the OEM and would have been nice including washers. Check out the photos or feel free to follow my IG rebelfivehundred

My bike is a 2020 Rebel 300. When I took my first ride with the Mustang Daytripper seat, it changed everything for me. It's not simply comfortable. It's better at holding you in your seat. It's also lifts me up by about an inch and forward about the same. It's safer.First thing I noticed was how much more secure I felt on the Mustang. With the stock seat, I had to constantly adjust my sit position as I slid forward/left/right/back. This one keeps me on board in a seat I can remain in for long rides.Absolutely worth every penny. The ONLY negative I might give it is the stock seat has clips for the crappy Honda tools and your papers. This one does not. If you have other bags, that shouldn't be an issue.
