3 in 1
3-in-1 jackets are made of two separate layers; an outer waterproof shell and an inner, removable padded jacket or fleece. They can be worn in three different ways depending on the weather; a raincoat on wet days, a fleece on dry days, or together on cold and wet days. A versatile, essential jacket for unpredictable Spring and Autumnal weather, or cold and wet Winter.
Taped Seams
Taped seams provide a physical barrier that prevents water from leaking through seams, stitching or joins in the fabric, making every inch of the garment waterproof. These garments are ideal for outdoor activities in changeable or wet weather.
Waterproof (2000mm)
This waterproof material has been laboratory tested as having a hydrostatic rating of 2,000mm. This is a measure of the water pressure a garment can withstand which indicates how water proof it is. The higher the number, the greater water pressure it can withstand.

Detachable Hood
A hood is important to keep out wind in poor conditions. This can be removed should the wearer choose to.
Warmth
This material has been laboratory tested as waterproof. This means the garment can withstand significant rainfall in a single day without letting moisture in.
Breathable
Breathable fabrics let moisture out quickly and efficiently. This technology means that perspiration can escape, avoiding dampness in the fabric. This makes it ideal for indoor and outdoor activities, or travel in warmer climates.
The Difference Between Waterproof & Water Resistant
Shopping for a jacket can be confusing, with different terms and ratings used. Below is a simple guide to help you pick the perfect jacket:
Showerproof: The fabric is treated with a coating that resists water. These jackets are a great value-for-money option to keep you dry in light rain showers.
Water-Resistant: The fabric is treated with a Durable Water Repellent (DWR) coating. This allows moisture to bead and roll off the surface. Ideal for light rain or limited exposure to heavier rain.
Waterproof: These fabrics can withstand heavier rainfall without letting moisture in. They will usually quote a lab-tested "hydrostatic head" rating, which measures the level of waterproofness. Higher ratings (5,000mm or 10,000mm) are the most waterproof, ideal for activities in wet or changeable conditions.

Bought this for a small 12 year old, fits my small 8 year old. Sizing is very off.There is also a very strong nasty chemical smell to it as another reviewer noted.This is one to avoid.

Bought this jacket for my daughter,she is 9 years old. I choose the seize 11-12 because she is slightly taller for her age. Unfortunately the size I bought is still small.For the rest,nice colour and it seems to warm .

LOVE this jacket!!! Got this for my son for Christmas and we are loving that it can be 3 different jacket options. The layers are awesome for weird Ohio weather. Good quality material and the zippers dont stick!

Very waterproof but my kid complains about being cold at anything under 45 degrees. It's also possible that he is just being a wimp about the cold.

I sent this coat to my Grandson. I ordered from this company last year. He outgrew last years and his brother is wearing it. They love these coats. They stay warm in Montana winter due to the layers and the outer layer material. The layers provide use in several seasons.

We really need a solid 3 in one jacket for our early winter and early spring. The bitter cold and wet are nasty. Upon arrival the jacket is stiff and the fleece is very low quality. For the price however, its a good deal. The prices on some of the similar products on the market are just absurd. I will update this review after we have had a few month of use.

The sleeves are not well constructed and the elastic loops that hold the inner sleeve to the shell broke after only two weeks. As a 5/6 the jacket is long enough, but skimpy for bigger child. My slightly self-conscious 5 year old dos like that it fit fits snuggly and iOS not too big.
