Bought to swap out peloton pedals so I can use my spd shoes. Easy to do, works great, good quality and the red goes great with the bike!

I put these pedals on my e-mountain bike. They are well made with good bearings and the clips work well. I have had them for several months now and they look like they will hold up well. I like having the option of using regular shoes but usually use shoes with the clips for extra power and safety. I have just purchased another set to put on my other bicycle.

Disclaimer: These are the first clipless SPD pedals I have used (installed on a gravel bike) so I can't compare them to other SPD pedals. The pedals were easy to install. Since I'm a beginner with SPD, I set the spring tension very loose. With this setting, the pedals are easy to clip in and out, and have not released my shoes unintentionaly. I plan on tightening up the spring as I get more riding time on the pedals. As other reviewers mentioned, these pedals usually hang in the verticle postion when you first get on the bike, so you have to rotate them for use. I didn't find this to be a problem at all.The included pins on the flat side of the pedal do a good job of securing your flat shoes. I have not experienced any shoe slippage on paved bike paths or moderate dirt trails.Bottom line, these shoes do a great job on both sides (SPD/flat) and seem to be a great value for the money. So far I would highly recommend.PS - I did not use the provided cleats since I already had Shimano cleats installed on my shoes.

Very well made. Works perfectly with my Shimano cleats. My GF who is a clipless novice uses hers just fine too.

These peddles are solid. Great price Great look. Clip on is the way to go once you perfect the skill.

As someone who does a lot of bikepacking and toring, I found these to be very handy. The clips are not as accurately set as say Shimano, but easy enough to adjust tension. The pedals are smooth to use and have a great platform on both sides. Now the big test, longevity.

I'm a Shimano guy but thought I'd try these for fun. So far they are quite good. they spin very easily with no looseness or play. The finish is very good, they look good. I use them with my old cleats and the entry is a little different, I have a harder time hitting the left peddle. It's not a big deal and is probably just a matter of getting more used to it. The peddles do naturaly angle themselves vertically so you can kick in forward to cleat and backward to the flat side. I'm in the cleats 98% of the time so the platform size is fine for me. If you were on the flat side most of the time you may want a larger peddle face. But I like it. Durability? We'll see. But given the price it may be worth a shot. So far I like them.

I just received these pedals today. I rode 40 miles on them without issue, and I'll update this review if durability becomes a long term issue. I normally ride Shimano PD-ME700. The shape and construction between these and those are similar, with the obvious exception of the flat side on these. Compared to the Shimano pedals, these have a lot more float tolerance. It's not bad or good, just something to get used to. These were also quite difficult to adjust compared to Shimano. Not quite as smooth of a mechanism. They got there, it was just finicky. The cleats that came included are quite bad. They scraped and dented immediately, and getting them into the pedal was quite a challenge, ending in an unsatisfactory lack of click. I highly recommend getting some basic Shimano cleats for a smoother experience.I bought these pedals to put on my gravel bike for getting around town without cleats, but still being able to go for long rides. They are great for that. They feel secure and comfortable with clipped in, so I can ride for hours without thinking about them. And the flats are tacky and secure enough that I can ride in any shoes I please around town.Fortunately, I don't need these pedals for what they would not be good for. That being: downhill flat pedal riding, and around town clipless riding. The flat side of these pedals, while completely usable, is not very stable. It's a bit cumbersome to find the flat side, and if you were riding downhill on a mountain bike and slipped your pedal, you could catch it on the clip side and skip off. For that reason, I'd recommend using a two sided flat pedal for technical flat shoe riding. The clip side of this pedal, though secure once attached, is quite tricky to mount into because you have to line up the correct side, and find your cleat on the large pedal surface. For that reason, I would recommend that riders who plan to clip and unclip often look into double sided SPD options.Basically as expected, this works as a flat or clipless. But it compromises on both. Those drawbacks don't interfere with my riding, but they might with yours.
