My wife got this several months ago, and I've been procrastinating reviewing it ever since. It works pretty well, and comes with lots of accessories that do things that I don't understand. However, one thing to note is that it came broken. The lid has a handle that you're supposed to use to screw down and keep it tight. On ours, the plastic holding the handle broke into several smaller pieces. It still works, but I'm counting the times she uses it until it breaks.

This grinder not only does a good job producing a nice fine powder, but it is affordable. It is easy to use and doesn’t take up a ton of space. If you need to get that really fine mill, that is a powder like consistency, this will do it. I like that it can be rotated, to ensure you are moving the contents around to get it all ground evenly. It is only for dried goods, but you can dry/dehydrate veggies and other items then grind them to make spices as well. It does take a little longer to get that nice fine grind, but it does a great job.

I have not used this yet, but the directions seem clear to understand and I cannot wait until I do. I plan to use it to process all my herbs that I will grow in the garden this year. It is a good size and doesn't take up too much space on my counter. It is well made and durable.

I make my own seasonings and have been using a blender to chop up my different seasons. When I saw how this mill grinder works, I had to get it. Perfect for what I do and will make quick work of the season I need to grind. I really enjoy making chipotle since it is expensive to buy. I smoke and dehydrate my own peppers to make the seasoning. Using this mill grinder allows me to use all the pepper and get it as fine as I need it for making the seasoning. The end result is much better than a blender and allows me to use the whole pepper and not discard any of it.This is not something you would use all the time, but it is really great for these types of projects!

I have a few hand-grinders, but I was looking for something that would let me do a little more "bulk". There really aren't many dry goods you can't grind with this, from griding your own wheat for flour to griding your own cinnamon from sticks. I love that you can tip it back and forth to move everything around. I wish it would tip over all the way for storage, though. It would take up less space. It does come with a nice little sifter / screen. I'm not sure about the 2500W rating, as I don't really have a way to test that. But if that's correct, then make sure you don't plug this into any power strips or extension cords. The build on this was very good and I really like it, I just wish the top came off for cleaning in the dishwasher. The timer is also a nice feature, so you can "set it and forget it". Of course, then you can't tip it back and forth if you aren't there....but you can't have everything. One good thing is the motor brushes are replaceable, so if it goes south you can get it up and running again. The manual also goes to great lengths to ensure you don't surpass the "duty cycle" with this. So one thing to point out - this isn't a "mass production" mill. It's a "small batch" mill. If you're looking for a mill for your homesteading community, you may want to go a bit larger. But if you're grinding small batches of spices (or blends), this is excellent.
