Safety Buckle Device
Equipped with safety buckle device, that is if you open the lid during grinding, the grinder will stop working immediately to avoid injury. Close the lid and push two rods on the both sides to the end together to make sure trigger the induction switches. (Ensure you hear a clear click)

Upgraded Overload Protector
With upgraded overload protector, the grinder will also stop working to prevent the motor from burning-out when in overload/overheat state. To restart the grinder, wait for the machine to cool down, clean the blades bottom, replace the carbon brushes on the both sides and then press the overload protector again, then the grinder could work well.

Pretty annoying to have to take the lid off and dump out the flour with every batch. Has latches that take some fiddling each time. The ones that work more like a funnel where you pour the wheat in the top and it grinds out the bottom are much nicer.

I had a couple of issues with the machine and the customer service that I received was one of the best customer service experiences I've ever had! The people who work with this company went out of their way and went over and above anything I expected, to make me happy. I can't recommend this company highly enough! This grain mill does exactly what it says it does! It grinds wheat berries to a very fine flour. Hopefully it will last many years! Time will tell.

I did everything I was supposed to do with this unit. I let the unit rest for longer than the manufacturer recommended and even set a timer to make sure I had it right, I filled it a little less than recommended, I cleaned it between every cycle. The first one I got burned out on the second day of use so I exchanged it for another unit. The second unit they sent me was worse than the first as it didn't have a digital timer, just a knob. I didn't unbox the second unit for a while but it burned out as well on about the 4th day of use and now it is beyond the return date. So here I am without a working unit, losing out on customer orders and unable to return it to get another unit or my money back. I definitely lost out giving these guys a chance.

I purchased the 500g unit specifically for grinding chick peas for making noodles. After unboxing the unit, I opened the top and added dried chick peas which are very hard and slightly irregular shaped. After placing the lid in the proper position for operation, I plugged in the unit, and turned on the timer for one minute.After a quick minute passed, I unpluged the machine and opened the lid. Amazing those hard chick peas were mostly ground. I was pleased to say the least. I reattached the top and proceeded to grind away for another minute and voila! Chick Pea flour!As this was the primary reason for purchasing this style of unit I was happy.Pros: ground Chick Peas into flour in slightly less that two minutes. Self explanatory to useCons: A small issue with emptying the cannister as I did not purchase a swing style unit. Not a deal breaker, just a smallish matter with emptying the bowl. Clean up was with the provided brush. It worked well enough--replacement brushes can be found at any hardware store paint section--nothing special.All in all after my test use this unit completed the task for which I purchased it for....as for longevity, that will have to wait until I can utilize the unit to its fullest.I always recommend reading the directions and ensure the ld is locked into place properly for the unit to operate. Run the machine at most for three minutes before resting for up to ten minutes. Not a hardship, just try one minute increments to see how the machine operates and best practices for your particular grinding needs.

I like its versatility to work with a broad spectrum of grains. Easy to use, easy to clean and maintain. I use it mostly to prepare some typical dishes of Peruvian food.
