This was supposed to fit my 2017 Escalade. I ordered it ahead of when I was going to have time over the weekend and figured I was all ready for the job--not so lucky. I removed the old ball joint, got my ball joint press kit ready and started on this one--no go. Turns out the hole in my lower control arm was 40mm across and this part is 45 mm across. I literally broke this part attempting to make it fit. NOT the right application or I got one of a bad batch that was mislabeled.Given that I had to finish the job over my weekend I ended up having to pay over $300 for an entire lower control arm because that was all my local auto parts store had in stock. If I wanted to replace the lower control arm I would have just bought that from the get go online and saved myself over $100.I am really disappointed with the lack of fit on this, I have always thought Moog was a quality brand but my respect for them has really gone down.

If you don’t have the special tools for this you won’t be able to get the snap ring in. Look for an arm with ball joint already installed.

Installed these, along with upper control arms, on my '18 Silverado to replace the worn out factory components. The most difficult part was getting the spindle separated from the old lower ball joint. One little hiccup on installation though. The factory ball joints are crimped after installation to insure they stay put. Easy enough to ding the crimps back and get the old one out. However, when putting the new one in I noticed immediately that it wouldn't pass thru the lip of the lower control arm, and forcing it likely would have damaged this product enough that would cause problems putting the snap ring on. Easy enough to grab a carbide bur cutter and remove just enough material to allow these to be installed, but it's something not everyone might catch before something gets messed up.Greased it after installation, and happy as can be. I've always used Moog parts for suspension and steering when I could.I was disappointed to see the parts for my Silverado show up with "made in china" printed on the box. Given my experiences and Moog's reputation in the industry I would gladly pay 50% more for a product made in the USA. We'll see how long these parts last. For all I know I could have paid half of what I did for a box store's chinese made crap and gotten the same exact part. Time will tell.

Ordered 2. 1 was slightly out of spec and would not press in the other was missing the threads for the grease fitting. Then the return was processed wrong and I was only refunded for 1 of the parts. Had to call Amazon to fix everything. Which they did. Usually moog is one of the best just not this time
