Interesting newer design as compared to the original Dana balljoint design. The dust boot now seems to be permanently pressed into the socket with the balljoint for a better seal to keep moisture and dirt from ever entering the socket causing premature wear which is a nice improvement if you ask me. Greaseable and great Moog quality as expected. Got rid of the excess play my old balljoints had and the steering seems a lot smoother for my 01' Jeep XJ Cherokee. I always recommend Moog for all my steering and suspension replacement parts.

The parts arrived fast and the price was competitive with local places

Once you press the old ball joints out, these work pretty well.I was told that Moog still makes their products in the U.S.A. and professional mechanics told me NOT to buy Chinese made parts. The ball joints that I bought have a grease fitting that is plugged and you need to install the Zerk fitting after installation (not easy).

Purchased upper and lower ball joints for a Jeep Wrangler. Quality construction on the outside, questionable on the inside. They caused more steering issues than solved with the amount of play in them when brand new, properly installed and greased. Dry steering test and road test confirmed looseness/wandering. Changed them out for Teraflex and was a night and day difference of steering reliability and feel.Tldr; don’t buy these.

They work fine and I have been happy with Moog products in the past but theses have a strange grease fitting which I have not found an adapter for yet. Very disappointing.

I got these for my 2000 cherokee. They fit perfect and installed with little effort. The price on these are outstanding considering at an auto store there close to 100$ a piece. They are authentic moog parts..Ive installed enough moog products i can tell the fake from real. These are very well made and are greaseable.

About 2/3 the price of my local auto parts stores. Much heavier than stock look to be good quality.

Very high quality parts, did upper and lower on both sides, nasty clunk is now gone, steering is much tighter.Moof costs more because they put more into the parts, very high quality.

I have to wonder why Moog bothers to give you a grease fitting on the lower ball joint you can only use it before the axle is replaced. As there is no room for this grease fitting and the axle universal joint to live in the same space. I would think a company with all the engineers and designers they have could have come up with another way to get grease in the ball joint
