It’s a downrod - so what’s there to write about? The fact Monte Carlo fans use smaller diameter downrods (unlike most other fan manufacturers) - which, like most proprietary products, ends up being much more expensive than a generic/universal downrod you can buy at any of the box stores. Additionally, you can’t find these at a Lowes/Home Depot/Ace Hardware. You typically have to order it and wait. In my case the project was delayed for nearly two weeks (which then turned into two months, because ’Life’ happens). Thank you Monte Carlo!
