Ceiling fan downrods offer added flexibility in placing fans in the exact setting desired. Decorative 1/2-Inch diameter downrods are threaded on one end with pre-drilled holes on both ends. The threaded end of the downrod should be installed in the ball, inside the ceiling canopy. For optimum performance, Monte Carlo recommends that your ceiling fan is installed with the blades suspended between 8-Feet and 9-Feet above the floor. This downrod is in a beautiful Brushed Pewter and is suited for a ceiling height of 12-Feet with a suggested downrod length of 36-Inch. Whether its form and style or simple functionality, know that Monte Carlo sets the standard for exceptional quality.

We have a fan that needs a 1 inch not 3/4 inch downrod. Its a hard size to find when companies like this misadvertise and cost us money, time, and carbon emissions do to their lazy product descriptions. Be better.My picture the one on the left is their 3/4 inch product next to a 1 inch.

Didn't fit on my new ceiling fan there were no threads on the end to fit my fan ending up having to go to a hardware store to buy one which was what I was trying to avoid.

I bought this to go with a ceiling fan that I ordered online and it didn’t come with a down rod that was long enough. This worked perfectly! Looks great, and it doesn’t let the fan wobble at all.

Just installed it today. Very sleek and fits very nice in the new patio we are building. Got the 36in drop down to clear the ceiling. Very easy install. Love the 6 speeds, puts out a lot of air and the light is very bright. The remote is very nice and is very easy to use. It was balanced all on its own so no need for the balancers. No real time using it but excited to get more opportunities.
