These literally took five minutes to install. Two bolts on each shock. What a difference in the ride quality. Most people wait until their old shocks fail before installing. I recommend changing them out, whether then need it or not, every 60-80k miles. Preventative maintenance is the key to a long-lasting vehicle. Changing these shocks was easy, and important!!!

I haul around a small diesel tank in the bed 30 gallons and within a week the passenger side is blown out. Waist of money!

I installed these on my 2016 F150 in late July last year (2022) and had one of them fail after a couple of months of extremely light driving. No towing; no hauling in the bed other than groceries...basically used for commuter driving and very little of that. When we put it up on the rack, the drivers side shock was heavily leaking oil and based on the lack of any bounce it was probably dry. There was also wear and rust on the lower (inner) sleeve from the outer sleeve excessively rubbing against it - - which it shouldn't do at all when extending or contracting. Very disappointing and upsetting to get less than 1,000 miles out of a pair of shocks.
