This baton is not of the same high quality as other Mollard batons I have. The shaft is not securely fixed to the base, and it clicks as I conduct. This was especially noticeable and distracting when I was conducting our school's musical theater performances. I like the wood color and the design, but I probably won't use it again.

Excellent baton again from Mollard. It only takes about a week to start seeing a slight warp, but its nothing my students would notice and works wonderfully (I do not bang it against the stand...)I like the "balanced" feel. I don't like it to be too heavy on the handle. These are always a solid buy. If you get one on sale, all the better.
