Took 15 minutes or so. Follow instructions. Loved that I did not have to replace faucet. This faucet is over 20 years old but still looks great. The night b4 I poured some vinegar inside the cap so it was descaled a bit to make it easier to remove just in case.

When replacing the tub fixtures I needed this kit as the previous ones had reached the end of their lifetime after 20 years. This was a perfect fit and very easy to install.

I broke the handle at my rental apartment. This was an affordable and easy diy fix. The plastic has held up after several months of use after replacing.

These fit well in our faucets and are easy to install as long as you can get the handle shroud off. Those rubber tools for removing jar lids can help to remove without damaging the chrome.

Worked perfectly!!To anybody reading this... make sure you have the correct size. I almost bought the red/blue adapters (https://www.amazon.ca/Moen-100561-Handle-Adapter-Kit/dp/B00083K3WO/ref=pd_sbs_60_1/141-1920289-1656721?_encoding=UTF8&pd_rd_i=B00083K3WO&pd_rd_r=09a3976c-e3b4-4935-a8fb-35476f1b5a5b&pd_rd_w=1b50R&pd_rd_wg=aLPPz&pf_rd_p=157bf57f-c631-4c94-85b4-572e1809a383&pf_rd_r=56NZ7P3S3BCKEV55508Q&psc=1&refRID=56NZ7P3S3BCKEV55508Q) , until I realized that the red/blue were twice the size.Measure twice, cute once ;)

This product worked perfectly!My home has about 4 of these similar Moen Monticello faucets (hand sink and bath tub) and they have lasted for 20+ years. One broke and it was important to get the new one ASAP. So I got a replacement from the local big box store. It worked great as well. The other was still usable and so I ordered from Amazon.In both cases, I took the old faucet handles off and followed the included instructions. No surprises and everything went together as shown in the instructions.I included snap shots of instructions in case someone got a package without instructions.Getting the handles off was a little tricky because of the years of corrosion being in the way. I simply got out my very large channel lock pliers and used a double layer of old bicycle innertube to pad the chrome finish. They came off easily after loosening them with these tools. I also used some silicone grease to put them back together. Hopefully this helps someone in the future! Moen lasts forever!!!

Unlike the reviewers two years ago or so, if this listing is "Ships from and sold by Amazon.com" and also the first bullet under details says "Moen genuine part," IT IS, with NO problem with the keying of the part (the handle points correctly at 90 degrees to the faucet spout). My sister's faucet handle broke off just like other reviewers have said, and her fixture is probably 13 years old. The plastic fins inside the original aerator were also crumbling, so Moen was apparently using inferior plastic that became brittle after about 10 years. The kit comes in a plain bag with a Moen sticker AND instructions; the date on my sticker was 6/11/14 and I ordered it two days ago. Keep in mind this kit is for faucets manufactured prior to April, 2002 which have black (cold side) and white (hot) colored adapters under the handles. Faucets manufactured later underwent a design change and have blue (cold) and red (hot) colored plastic adapters, Moen part 100561. If you have problems unscrewing the chrome hub under the handle from the top of the cartridge stem, duct tape and channel locks or, preferably, a cheap 9 dollar strap wrench will do do the trick. Clean the threads with lime scale remover and a toothbrush before reassembly. Others have said Moen will replace parts for free, but part was cheap enough that I did not go this route and don't know what evidence they need of ownership, or if they want the original broken part, etc.

With a little bit of effort I identified the Model# of my Moen faucet and found out the part number for the item that was broken. Of course it was quite a bit cheaper on Amazon than buying it directly from Moen. The instructions that were included for the repair were fairly straight forward and it took less than 10 minutes to complete each faucet repair. The kit does include both a hot and cold knob adapter so I decided to swap over the cold knob even though it had not broken yet.A bit pricey for what's in the bag but a much cheaper alternative to new faucets.Good quality replacement parts.
