Nice big handle and really nice weight but the factory edge was awful.After a trip to the sharpening stones I realized the stainless steel in this knife is very average and not at all pleasurable to sharpen. Takes an acceptable edge and edge retention is also very average.Completely overpriced for what it is. Look elsewhere if you're in the market for a honesuki, stainless or otherwise.

It did not come with the factory edge. Its fine but it would have been nice to know.
