I was looking for an inexpensive keyboard to use wirelessly with GarageBand on an iPad and this met my expectations and more.The only trick is that you have to enable Bluetooth within GarageBand in settings. It doesn’t show in the iPad Bluetooth settings. Small glitch- they sent the wrong instruction book so I had to look this up online. That said…It’s exactly what I was looking for. Bluetooth works great for wireless but they supply midi cable too. There’s a volume slider on the keyboard which I didn’t hope for but is, very handy so you don’t have to go back to the iPad screen to change volume. Supports multiple simultaneous notes (chords) if the GarageBand keyboard supports it. Works on batteries so won’t be a brick in a year but also plug in power. Not too big not too small. Basically no complaints at all on my first day using it, and the price (I paid $50) was very fair. What else… Oh, velocity sensitive keys. Other pitch modulation stuff I haven’t played with yet. I am so much happier playing chords on this than on the GarageBand screen. Very pleased with the purchase.

I am a full time musician who loops and plays guitar and keys.i bought this to replace a korgnanokey air i had for years. It connects flawlessy to my iphone and ipad with the korg BLE app, and doesnt disconnect or have any hiccupsIt replaced my korg for 1/4 the price and offers midi out as well as a volume fader. Couldnt be happier. Dont hesitate to purchase.I hope these guys will add bt functionality to their x series.

I first thought that it was broken, because it didn't produce any sounds, but no, you need to connect it to a MIDI sampler to get sound out of it.

Excelente artículo, el teclado no es de la mejor sensación ni calidad, pero el hecho que sea de baterías y que además es compatible con varias apps por Bluetooth lo hacen un teclado muy versátil. Esto es solo para cotorrear, si quieren algo para producir si les recomiendo otra cosa. Yo solo lo uso para estudiar en mis tiempos libres y es maravilloso por qué no hay cables y lo puedes usar donde sea.

I'm not sure what this is good for. It pairs fine with my Windows computer, but NONE of my music programs (Cubase, AAS, UVI, Toontrack) recognize it as a MIDI input device. I tried to contact MIDI Plus for help but did not get a reply. I'm really sad about this, I truly wanted/needed this to work. If anyone can tell me what you use it for I'd love to hear, but I'm boxing it up to send it back.

Connect a USB cable for power. Slide the power switch to USB. All good.Now slide the power switch to either battery or "off". Now slide it back to USB. It doesn't turn back on unless you disconnect & reconnect the power source.I can live with it only transmitting on MIDI channel 1, and the 1/8" output is __awesome__, but I really don't relish fumbling around the back of my keyboard every time I start up my studio. I'd leave it on all the time but 1) I shouldn't have to and 2) there's a REALLY annoying blue light that flashes every x seconds.Returning this and going to try something else.NOTE: The power issue only seems to occur when using external 5v (like a phone charger [yes the voltage and current were correct]). Connecting directly to a computer (which doesn't work for my use case) doesn't seem to be an issue, so I know it's not an issue with the power switch itself but rather a design flaw of some kind.

Great Bluetooth stability. Makes all those novel phone synths instantly playable and useful. Great battery life, no noticable latency, plug and play! I haven't seen anything similar near this price point. Of course it feels more Casio than Roland, but it's light and petty sturdy. Prefect size to have comfortably on your lap to noodle whenever. Really stoked on it and highly reccomend it. Even if just used for occasional travel, we have a winner!

This is a great alternative to higher priced mini key Bluetooth models. Can use with Bluetooth with battery OR USB power!
