Our existing shutters had these type of clips and we thought it easiest to use the same on our take down and repaint the shutters job. They are not the easiest to install if you are doing a new installation but work great and almost never come off!My 4 stars is because there are no instructions - and Duh, not "just snap it on and screw it into the mortar joint, silly" type of instructions. As I said above, we are REPLACING our worn shutters and therefore need to remove these from the back of the vinyl shutter. That is not easy when they are on the house! Haven't perfected any technique, but best results so far have been using a wide Flathead screw driver and twisting it to expand the teeth on the clip and then pulling it out of the clip...definitely takes 3 hands to remove 1 clip!

These little buggers are exactly the pieces needed to replace 30 yr old shutter hangers that have rusted away. Easy install and perfect "grab" make these spectacularly easy to use.

The quality of this product is excellent I'm struggling with how to install or use this product. No instructions were provided, and I can't find any help on the Internet. Meantime, I can't accurately rate the clips until I figure out how they work.

Worked well, already had a mix of older/existing and these worked in in conjunction with the existing.

These replace the existing shutter clips very well, however I still had to modify them because the meat has that installed them originally drilled the holes in the wrong place, I added a metal flap to extend them further than where the hole currently is.
