I ordered this as more of a decoration piece and it is so adorable. It's a great size and holds a ton of mail. The detail looks wonderful and the flap on the top opens and closes very smoothly. The material it is made out of is nice and thick and feels very sturdy. Definitely love it.

This is a really nice looking mailbox. It's the same height as our old mailbox but it looks much bigger because it's deeper and wider. It will hold a LOT of mail. It will look best on wood siding or brick, in my opinion. I hung it where our old mailbox was, on gray vinyl siding, and it just seems out of place. Even so, I'm sure it would look better on siding that looked more like real wood or at least had a complementary color. Besides being mighty good looking it also seems well made. It does have just the one mounting hole at the top for hanging it, so if it gets bumped it can be knocked crooked. It should have at least two mounting holes for stability. Of course, you could always add your own second mounting hole, but it just seems like an oversight to only have one. That aside, it is a gorgeous mailbox and nicely priced at the time of this review. If it fits your décor I think you'll like it and do recommend it.

The mailbox is gathering water inside from a recent rainstorm we just had, my mail is getting wet… very disappointing.
