This coffee brown vest looks just like the seller's pictures. The fabric is medium weight and feels soft to the touch. This vest is nicely crafted and I can not find any flaws. The fit is perfect, for a large. Not tight, just fits well. The pockets are small but functional and it is a nice addition to have in my wardrobe.

First, while this listing says "Big and Tall" and includes larger sizes, the small is still a small. I'm around 130# and it fits me fine. It could be a little smaller, but I'm used to that.As far as fiber content goes, I was a little confused by the paper hangtag on the vest. It says the vest is 100% wool. But the listing and the internal vest tag both say 20% merino wool, 30% nylon, 50% acrylic. At around $40, I believe the tags that indicate less wool content.But the feel of the vest is more that of a fairly nice merino wool sweater. It has a comfy touch and warmth. I was planning to wear it only under a blazer (like a tweed) when going out, but I've been wearing it a lot at home since I've been enjoying its feel during cold winter days.Apart from the ribbed edges, the main part isn't all that thick, so I wouldn't count on this alone to keep you warm in freezing temperatures. But it is a nice layer that I'm happier to have than I expected!

I like to wear a blazer/jacket, sweater vest, and slacks to fancy dress events. My old cardigan was getting worn out. This cardigan vest was an appropriate replacement. Good weight for layering. The grey color palette goes with blacks, blues or greys. Fits true to size and looks great on.

I ordered this vest for my husband and I absolutely love it. It has the classic preppy aesthetic in a brown herringbone pattern, but is also surprisingly hip with the ribbed edges in black. The vest is lightweight but still warm thanks to it being made of a wool blend knit. It does seem a bit on the larger side through the tummy area, sort of wish I had ordered a size smaller. This vest looks great on it's own or under blazers. My husband likes to wear it around the house over his PJs, too. Overall, this is a very versatile, hip, warm, and attractive sweater vest.

My husband quite enjoys dressing well, and prefers button downs and ties to T-shirts. This sweater vest in olive-brown pairs so beautifully with a linen or khaki colored button down shirt and a dark olive green tie. Paired with wide leg dress pants or an antique wash slim pair of jeans and cognac leather Chelsea boots, this is great for bringing some old world style into your wardrobe.This is a merino wool blend sweater vest, and as such, it does require a bit more care than a standard non-wool blend sweater vest. I've washed this in a mesh bag on the gentle cycle, and then laid flat to air dry, and it's handled that beautifully.It's a decent weight, neither too warm or too cold, and while my husband tends to be a bit sensitive to some wool and wool blends, he has not found this to be irritating at all.He's currently wearing between an XL and XXL, and I went with the XL, which fit him very well, with no pulling or gaps along the buttons, and this vest hit right where it was supposed to, despite him having a longer torso, so I can see how this is a fantastic option for taller men.As well made as this is, it should last him for many years, and we'd absolutely recommend this sweater vest to anyone looking to upgrade their wardrobe.

This vest is lightweight, loose-fitting, and comfortable. I ordered coffee brown, and it gave a very old-schooled cigar parlor look, which I loved. Real pockets and nice buttons.

I've been wanting to get my husband a vest for a long time, however, they're either too short or too expensive. I was so happy to find something in both our size and price range. The colors are accurate, the sweater vest isn't itchy, and I think it looks great on him. If you're a taller guy and in the market for a vest, I think this is a great option.

This men’s vest is very well-made, soft, and handsome.But it does run a bit large. However, should make for a very comfy fit.BOTTOM LINE: this is a very nice purchase, but if you’re between sizes, definitely order smaller.
