Our Story
Our company is seven years old and is one of the originators of the ratchet belt in the USA. We didn’t invent the ratchet system, we re-engineered it and made it better. The technology has been around for 25 years and is very popular in Asia And that’s where one of the founders of Nexbelt, Eddie discovered it. He brought it back to his business partner Tom and discussed what could be done better. The first thing we did was to upgrade the leather – something most companies don’t do today. We utilized the existing mechanism but designed a buckle to resemble a pin buckle – and a golf buckle that had a hidden ball marker behind the face - which we received US patents for.

This isn't complex. It's a belt. Holds my pants in place well. It's a gunbelt. Keeps good retention on my holsters regardless of carry position or number of magazine pouches. Construction is solid. Well made and reliable thus far. 100% satisfied thus far.

I work in law enforcement and as a female women’s belts suck for carrying any kind of weapon. This is super sturdy lobe the ratcheting to tighten. And the belt doesn’t look manly.

I use this belt everyday carrying gear around my belt line . It holds my 19 with optic and light and a side car very nice and secure. I enjoy the ratcheting system so when eat I can make micro adjustments. The only thing I’d say can be changed is the size of the buckle to maybe be reduced by 1/5 of an inch for dual holsters and side car .

The release latch is so difficult to pull, I didn’t think I’d ever get the thing off the first time I put it on. I ended up just cutting the thing off with a pair of wire cutters and just threw the thing away.

Got this just as work belt when my old belt gave up the ghost, not for concealed carry per se. My son recommended it because he’s had one for awhile and it’s held up well. I really like the fit and quality. Adjusts easily and securely. Quality leather and metal fittings. I like it so much I’ll be getting another for everyday wear and carrying.

Ridiculously easy to size and setup. Stiff and holds my IWB solidly, and I don't have to tug at my belt line. The stiffness is actually more comfy and helps reduce printing.I bought two, one black, one brown. I wish they had a "chocloate" brown color.

Belt is nice quality and looks good, I have a EDC belt that has been working for me for a year or so and decided to get another for work. The only issue I had is the release button is harder to work than my other belt.

This ratchet belt is perfect. Finally I found a high-quality belt that keeps my Levi's from sliding down. It is micro-adjustable in tiny clicks. It took a few tries to get used to the ratchet release lever on the bottom of the buckle. Once you get used to it, it works fine--just make sure your fingers are dry so they won't slip off the release lever. It also works perfectly as a gun belt. Holds the holster close to the body with no slack or wobble. Great for concealed carry where allowed.
