IMPORTANT INFORMATION

Typical service life is 3-6 months depending on volume filtered and sediment levels.
Recommended service temperature:40-113°F/5-45℃.
Flush 5 gallons of water through the filter before use.

Please Note: The smaller pore size, the much purer filtrated filter. But it doesn't mean that smaller is much better. If the raw water with a high level of contamination is filtrated with a smaller micron rating, the impurities will block the sediment filter quickly, as well as pressure drop rising soon, which will shorten the filter replacement recycle leading to higher maintenance costs.

These fit perfect in my A.O. Smith Sediment filter. They allow good water flow while filtering out all the sediment. Much cheaper than ones you'll find at your local hardware store and work just as well.

We have really dirty well water and lower micron filters plug up in days. These last 3 months, but really aren't reusable, once they plug up they're done for. And they are pricey, like all the others we've purchased.

I've had trouble finding filters for 20micron filtering as I was changing them too often. These filters seem to last twice as long now which is all I needed before water was going into my softener.

I am very pleased with the 20 Micron filter made by Membrane Solutions. I have a well, and have been getting iron contamination/sediment for some time now. I use the 20 Micron filter as the "first step" in a 3 filter "line up" to produce good, clear water. The one thing I really like about the Membrane Solutions 20 micron filter is the fact that it can be flushed, rinsed out, and reused. I do this every 3 to 4 weeks, and the results have been great. The second filter in my 3 step process is a 5 micron filter sold by Kinetico. The 20 Micron takes the brunt of the incoming sediment/iron coming from the well, making the 5 micron filter last much longer and more efficient at removing small particles. The third step in my system is a cartridge tank filter that removes particles down to two-tenths of a micron (0.2). It is an expensive filter, but like the Membrane Solutions filter, it can be flushed and rinsed. I do this every 30 days. It looks almost brand new, and my water is as clear as clear can be after it goes through the 3 filters. Following my first order, I reordered the Membrane Solutions filter (quantity 4). They work! If you have a well and need to filter sediment or iron, I recommend them without reservation.
