It works great for 2-3 inches of snow. I also have a regular size battery operated snow blower that I use if there is more than 3 inches of snow but this is lightweight and much easier to carry up out of my basement. The battery lasted for my entire job with our last snow, which was only about 2 inches of snow. It is easy to use and did a great job clearing my driveway.

Used it One time, worked great for 10 minutes then just stopped. Battery fully charged. Tried to return but said cut off date for return was 2/15/2025, I got on January 16th but didn't need to use it till yesterday. Seller won't respond. Very disappointed as I was really excited about it and most reviews were good. Feel like I got scammed and should be able to return.

So my original review was under a different spot on Amazon which apparently had to be changed because the seller used Dewalt Battery in it's title. I bought a second one for my wife's shop. Well now the snow has stopped... hmmm. I have actually used this snow shovel 8 times, and all my remarks below are still valid."I have used it 5 times now twice around 4"+. I actually use it with a B+D 7.5 Ah battery using a Dewalt tool to B+D battery adapter. One nit, be careful putting the battery on the battery studs in the handle are not as strong as they should be. I actually leave my adapter in place and change out the battery only.OTHERWISE It works great. I have a 70' x 14' driveway with 5' walls on both sides. I start on the west wall and blow left towards the east wall. Most of the snow gets to the far wall and more so the close I get. As I get closer to the east wall I blow snow further and further up. It falls down in a much more steep angle of repose than I can do with a shovel. THEN I turn the direction to just a little to the east and shovel all the snow right down to the street and it does a great job getting it there. The nice thing at the end of the driveway, I don't pile snow up as I get out in the open the snow is spread over a much larger area and is far easier to deal with and melts faster on sunny days! Great. Most of this was done with my corded single stage Snow Joe, but this is easier by far.I was going over some older snow left with my regular shovel. Icier and heavier, ate right through it cleanly.Tried to buy another one for my wife's shop, but alas not available.I cannot stress how important the non-proprietary battery was to me. As long as it wasn't Nakita you can get a battery adapter easily! When I retired I sold/gave my Dewalt tools and other more professional tools to people who would use them for years. I bought a set of B+D tools that have done well for me now. The batteries work well and with the adapter that means I have one battery to rule them all! Those three 7.5 Ah batteries do my driveway and my 40' walk and my neighbors on both sides walks no problem.I hope they put this back on the market and I get a chance to buy one for my wife.Nit 2, the trigger lock is too sensitive. The blower slips out of lock with just a little jostle of the hand, like slab joints. Just fix that and I would be very happy.Note: once you get the trigger locked it takes a second for the paddle blade to spin up. Just know it will start.Would I buy again, YES!" In fact I did buy a second one! My wife liked it when she used it at our house enough to ask me to get a second one for her shop.

we got to try it for the first time, it was pretty good, have to go up and down the sidewalk a few times to clear it but it works ok. Need another snow day to try again.

Works very well and the battery alone with charger is well worth the price. I found the handle grip could be a little more flexible as it can be a little awkward and limits your ability to balance the machine. Power is great. Worked well in about 3-4 inches of snow. Great for cleaning sidewalks but I would not expect it to do a driveway. Easy to put together. I cleaned about 100 feet of sidewalk and only lost one energy bar. I would highly recommended it for anyone who is not in the best of shape.

I live in an area where we can get little snow , to 12 " who knows. My first use test with this on my 80 foot 2 and 3 car wide driveway went well. Very cold outside so the snow that fell was dry this time, and only about an inch deep with a few 2 or 3 inch drifts. The size and capacity of this thrower worked very well to clear the entire driveway and walkways to the porch and around to the back garage. Changing throwing direction was not hard, as I kind of half lift the lightweight thrower up, and turn the knob on the head at the end of a row, then go right back to workPower was sufficient to toss the snow about 8 feet, and I noticed when I got to the deeper 3" stuff it actually went farther, guess the volume was there to kick it better. Noticed only slight motor bog down in thicker snow areas, but I really didn't slow down walking at all, I just kept going to get done, it was freaking cold out there. 🥶The included Battery lasted the whole driveway and walkways, and had one light on the power bar left when I was all done. The scraper did a good job getting down to bare driveway, so even in these sub zero temperatures two hours after being done the sun has dried off all remnants of moisture, so no slipping on ice from refreezing tonight. If you stick to the capacities and take the time I think this thrower is all you would need for most light to moderate Snows. I'm sure it won't toss heavy wet snow well, probably just like a larger thrower will kind of spit it out but it should move it okay if there's not a deep snow. I kind of enjoyed using this, strange I know, but it was easy to handle, light and way easier than pushing a shovel full of snow and picking it up and tossing it into the yard. Seems sturdy too. Time will tell on that, but for now, it works well, and I'm impressed 👍😁.

This works awesomeAnd the battery last long time. I was able to do my driveway and sidewalks even with ice and still had plenty of battery life and I tried my regular dewalt battery's and it works greatI had surgery on both shoulders and both hands and needed something like this and I am extremely happy with this. Be careful about ice chunks because it will throw them far .really powerful and throws snow very easy. Great value
