  • Terminal block pitch 3.5mm/0.138", wire size range 26AWG to 16AWG, strip length 5mm, screw M2 steel, pin header and cage copper. With power on LED indicating, red reset button on the side, with a ICSP adapter connect header.
  • Support for Desktop, Panel mount, Wall-mount or DIN rail mount. DIN rail mount supports vertical or horizontal place mounting. Can support width 35mm / 32mm / 15mm rail.
  • Enclosure: High quality aluminum enclosure, thickness 1.5mm/0.06", with attractive and extremely durable powder coat painting and clear laser marking labels. FR-4 fiber glass PCB, dual copper layers.

Anyone can design, cut, bend, and paint a box. The quality of this box lacked one thing. Did anyone actually mount the board and verify fitment? Maybe when originally made, but obviously not now. Using the standard Arduino board with the terminal board mounted on top, none of the board mounting holes were correct. For this reason, don't waste your money or time purchasing this product. It will not work.

This the second time I buy it. The block itself is very good but the screw is rusted.

With having to modify the face plate was still worth it for the quality of the case. My Arduino mega is a 2560 R3 but i have had issues with hardware solder on boards have been off in the past from being square with the boards. Terminals are fine this is for a permanent insulation which is not for bread boards jumper as other have had problems with. I also ordered 2 for my Uno boars which lined up perfect to the face plate

It's a bit pricey and the first one I received had completely wrong hardware. But the replacement was correct and it's a nice enclosure and breakout for industrial applications. Some complain that the terminal block rows block each other but that's really minor as this is a product that's meant to be installed once so you just wire in the correct order when you install. It's not a prototyping solution that's meant to be wired over and over.For the price it would have been nice to see some TVS diodes or other ESD protection on the signal lines of the breakout board to help make it a truly 'industrial' solution and help protect the Arduino.

I have used two of these breakout box's on projects so far. They provide an easy to use reliable interface for the Arduino mega 2560. The systems were industrial control systems and both have been working for months now with no issues. Both units were received with the reset switch some and button floating in the box. Apparently the switches were damaged due to tight packaging of the board inside the box. Both switches were easily reassembled. I will be using more of these breakout boxes.

Impressive quality, a great way to elevate your project to another level. If you are using breadboard pin wires they will block the screws for the connector behind. Just use normal wire and it won't be an issue.

Did a good job doing what’s supposed to - protecting a mega and providing rugged screw terminal connections.The only downside is with how dense the terminals are, it can be hard to reach a screw terminal when a wire is screwed into the terminal below it.

If you need to build an Arduino into a semi-industrial application, this is a decent choice.I've used a few of the proper industrial Arduinos, intended as PLC replacements but they generally don't have many I/O channels and are fairly expensive.This is good value, nicely made and even comes with DIN Rail mounts. If you don't need 24V capable inputs / outputs or 24V supply, or you need loads of I/O, this is really worth considering.I'll be using more of these in the future!
