Best and smartest way to protect your felt while watching the joy in your kiddos eye’s light up as they pocket a ball. Highly recommend this cue. Can’t go wrong with the name McDermott and this cue will turn your little minnow into a shark in no time!

If I didn’t make the mistake of ordering without much time before Christmas, I would return this. The attached cue ball has marks all over it, the base of the stick has a poor shrink wrap job with the lining. It’s far from being worth $70, for what’s simply a kids training stick. Zero McDermott logo or branding, for which many people would buy their brand for. Wouldn’t recommend.

Even the 2.5 year old is getting into the action and moving the balls around with this great training stick, all while saving my new felt from scratches. Well constructed sticks, I wasn't sure this would be worth the price, but y grandkids absolutely love getting to play billiards with the adults. Solid construction, makes a nice crack when they hit the balls correctly.

Great pool training product. Good quality also. I bought it for my 4 yr old grandson. He loves it. It teaches how the angles of the balls react to the que ball. It also saves the felt from being torn by traditional pool que tips. Very good for young children and beginners.

This product is genius. High quality, well-made. My 2-1/2 year old grandson is able to play billiards with his father and me effectively and he clearly takes great satisfaction from being able to pocket the balls. I was surprised at how quickly he mastered the appropriate technique and has become proficient (at 2-1/2 year old standards) at billiard play. Such a simple solution leading to an outstanding outcome.

Great teaching stick. My 5 year old can now "play' pool with me. Minus one star for price point, little expensive for what you get. I thought about making one myself from old cue stick and ball but ran out of time before Christmas.

This is a well made and well designed cue with the ball built into the end. It makes it possible for youngsters to participate in billiards in a meaningful way, with just one less thing for them to concentrate on. It also facilitates being able to see what happens with off-center hits, etc. Finally, it may save the felt on your table, since the cue end cannot rip up the table surface. Highly recommended.
