Though I am not a fan of the new painfully blazing headlights that are the current trend, these very bright reverse bulbs make backing up a breeze, and assist the back up camera by flooding the area with bold, beautiful light. Also nice in the sketchy side of town when they come on and illuminate all around the vehicle.Very easy to replace the old dead bulb, and having a pair encouraged me to replace both at the same time. I found a couple of YouTube videos that showed me how to do it. No problem.

It's brighter than the original - bear in mind, the one I'm comparing it to is a 20 year old OEM incandescent rear license plate bulb. I also cannot speak for the longevity since I just installed it a few minutes ago.It's only as hard to install as the AUTOMAKER makes it. On my Chrysler, it was amazingly simple. An auto repair shop wanted to charge me $40 labor and $7 for one bulb. Even someone who knows next to nothing about cars like me figured it out from watching a 3 minute YouTube video and checking 2 paragraphs in the owner's manual just to be sure.It took me less than 5 minutes of actual labor. With a bit of practice I could probably do it in under a minute.

As you can see in the picture, I got 2 of these LED bulbs in a safe packet. As far as I can tell there has been no damage and the delivery was fairly fast (came before estimated time). Pretty happy with the looks of this product so far.Alright I had to bump this down to 2 stars because of 3 reasons:1. I got one defective one. It just doesn't work.2. You have to figure out which light this works for. For the Volvo S40 2010, it works for the map lights.3. Once you find which light this works for, you have to figure out which way to insert the bulb, because if you put it in the wrong way, it will not work.Now other than those issues I just listed, the light worked perfectly fine. The process to replace the bulb was simple enough. For the map light in the Volvo S40 2010, you just need to carefully pry the plastic border off the car and the whole thing comes off. You then just twist the bulb and pull it out of the hole its in. You then pull the old bulb out of its plastic socket and put the new bulb in and do everything else in reverse. Very simple process that might require a bit of strength for pulling off the plastic border.The light is bright and white. I know for the Volvo S40 2010 particularly, the normal lights are yellow. If you do plan to replace the map lights, you will need 4 bulbs, or in other words, you need to order 2 of these as 2 bulbs come in each order.Edit: I changed this to 4 stars because I was sent a replacement for the faulty bulb. This one worked and the lights are great.Edit: Bumped it back down to 1 star because they stopped working and the one that worked from the first set has somewhat of a loose connection. Also, I was charged for the second pair.
