This case is crafted from lightweight Durashock molded EVA foam and water repellent polyester exterior.
The lid is lined with high density egg-crate foam to protect the display, jog wheels, and controls.

This case is cheep. The strap broke as soon as I loaded it up. The padding has cheep glue which comes right out. There are no pockets for storing accessories like a power chord or microphone.

I've had the case for a while and in it's 1st outing about a month ago, I gave the shoulder strap a little stress test by doing little bounces and the little cog holding the strap to the clamp popped right off. Need to get replaced now... bad design.

Fits the Denon DJ Prime 4 perfectly with dust cover on. If you understand how to properly secure and take care of your equipment this is an awesome addition to your cases. Definitely easier transport for local gigs as opposed to using the odyssey case constantly.

I needed an easy way to move my prime and keep it safe traveling by car. I didn’t want a heavy hard case, I’m not stacking things on top of the prime and the magma seemed a great choice. The case fits the prime 4 with its hard cover, I’m a fan of this approach because it adds a little more protection against impact. The case itself has a storage pocket beneath the screen for a cable or two, but beyond that it’s purely device storage. Personally I wouldn’t use this for air travel, it’s not strong nor secure enough. But again that’s not why I bought it.

I have an expensive Odyssey flight case which is a huge pain to move to and from my practice area, up or down flights of stairs, and to local bars where I have begun a residency. It has its place, but I needed something lighter and more portable, so I purchased the Magma CTRL case.It. Is. Perfect.Exactly what I expected from reading the information online.It is a semi-flexible hard plastic clamshell, wrapped in a heavy-duty fabric that feels softer than kevlar, but more heavy-duty than fiberglass mat. The Prime 4 fits perfectly inside, held snuggly in place by the two foam blocks on either side of the screen, and the full-sized foam egg carton insert. Both the power cable and link cable fit inside simultaneously in the open area located directly under the screen. The (included) shoulder strap and handles both feel strong, and are of good quality.The best part, and my original reason for purchasing this exact case, is that it is compatible with my Decksaver cover. As seen in the pictures, my Decksave cover is on and both cables are inside.It is NOT a replacement for a hardshell flight case, but, it is not intended to be.It is also NOT a replacement for an all-in-one carrying case, but, it is not intended to be.That being said, one or maybe two more cables similar in size to the power or link cables, and a handful of small adapters (i.e. 1/4 inch to 3.5mm adapter or XLR to RCA adapter) could also fit under the screen with the power and link cables, it would just take some careful packing.I couldn't be happier. 100% recommended if you want a durable, lightweight protective case.
