The photoelectric sensor can be used in security system and manufacturing industry.

The sensor has a SPDT output (with both normally opener and normally closed dry contact ouputs). The outputs will be reversed when the beam is interrupted.
The sensor is pre-wired 6ft (1.8m) cord for easy wire connection.
The sensor can be powered by a wide range power input which could be 12-240VDC 24-240VAC.

The sensors installed in Home Depot animatronics are terrible, they'll pickup a car 3 miles over and not a person dead in front of them, so I bought this as a hopeful solution. I had tried floor mats but they just cut out or nonstop triggered if they got wet. I put this thing in and bam problem solved.Basically you wire brown to 12v+ and blue to your 12v source's GND. Then wire black and white to a 3.5mm headphone cable and you're done. Plug it all in, and you have a beam sensor activated animatronic!

Had to replace a 10 year old predecessor. This one actually had a smaller foot print, fit in better in the application and was cheaper! The reflector was set 48” from sender. The sender had to transmit through a glass door. It was very non-temperamental in setting up and aiming at the reflector wasn’t as sensitive as I had feared. Didn’t test it beyond my requirements but I was favorably impressed with the product.

The 2 best things about this sensor is dual voltage and the 15 foot range. The bonus part is dry set of NO and NC contacts.

Works as expected, purchased 2 for our Halloween display and they did the job. Didn’t try to push the range limitation, but 10’ was no problem.
