This product was a great fit for my needs. The cost was worth the purchase and thus far the functionality and quality of material is great.

These are definitely cheaper, and based on the reviews some people seem to be having a better luck with them. My 2017 Escalade still has intermittent "Service Suspension" warning which is why I replaced the originals to begin with. If you're willing to take a risk, give these a shot. In my case. I ordered a pair, the light was still intermittent so I requested another set. Same deal with the new set. Just ordered a pair of the AC Delco ones for double the cost but I want to be done with the issue.

1 Year Update:Great product at a great price. It's not OEM quality, but the installation will be smooth. Most importantly there will be no Suspension codes. Conclusion: This aftermarket product is decently priced when compared to OEM prices, but believe me it won't last as long (one shock started leaking just after 1 year) overall good product...

I really wanted to like these and for them to work, but I had concerns about people saying that they would be flagged by the computer as not correct. And they were right. First I got the "Service Suspension" message on the dash for the right shock, and then about a week later for the left. Apparently neither of the Magnaride solenoid coils are behaving properly and the computer is flagging them as malfunctioning.I will say that the basic shocks seem OK, and the ride is definitely better than the original worn out stock ones they replaced, but the fact that the electrical portion of the system is creating errors makes them not worth it. I tried resetting the codes a few times and I have found that the two things that make the computer flag them are if you accelerate quickly or if you have "Sport" mode on - both conditions that call for tightened suspension and use of the magnaride control solenoids. It makes the shocks fairly pointless if the whole point of the magnaride system is rendered useless when they are called on to stiffen the ride as deisgned. Clearly LuftMeister has a product that looks good and does part of the job, but the whole point of the computer controlled suspension is lost if they cannot adjust damping when called upon.

I installed these on a 2015 tahoe LT with air leveling rear suspension. I do not have an electrical connection so i just tucked the electrical wire/connector up in the frame out of the way. They ride great. I haven't towed with them yet. My old oem rear shocks blew and wouldnt hold air any longer. These new ones bolted right in easily. No issues with the pneumatic tie in. I would buy again.

Install is much like a normal shock, however you have an airline with a simple clip (remove the clip) and an electrical connector. Put the clip back on the airline connector and it just snaps back on the new one. The only trouble I had was the top mounting bolt in my Tahoe has very little clearance so it was a bit of a pain to swap in, otherwise it's just as simple as replacing any other shock. Truck rides MUCH better now! Feels like it was when we bought it.Just be sure this is the right shock for your vehicle; if yours doesn't have the air bag and sensor wire, it's probably not it (and you can get a far less expensive shock!) My truck has the "Magneride" option which means the shocks aren't cheap.
