I have a few older Dell PowerEdge rack servers and was using this to build a NAS on a 2970 server. It recognized the drives but would often hang before booting and was incredibly slow to work with. Clearly some configuration issue. However, upon using a H200i controller everything operated normally and was able to continue software installation. This maybe a good card, but I purchased this based on its model number and internet recommendation and I will need to return it as it dosnt seem to work with my specific hardware.

Worked out of the box and have had no issues whatsoever.Came pre flashed in IT mode. Easy peasy!
