These worked great for me- at a much lower cost than from the drug store, great option for large skin injuries that require a lot of time to heal and many dressing changes.

We bought this for my dad's continuous glucose sensor, Freestyle Libre 2 and 3. The sensor would get bumped, wet, or peel, and eventually falls off before the 14days was up. Insurance only covers 1 every 14-days. This was a way to protect the sensor from this mishap.

Patch is just a bit smaller than standard. Adhesive works well when first applied, following a shower and drying off, it still held to the skin. However after 12 hours the edges started to fall off the skin. I would have expected the patch to adhere more and to last at least 24 hours.

This Tegaderm alternative is such a good value and the large size is so good! You can always cut down if needed (but cut rounded corners to avoid lifting!)I use to cover my CGM and 9 times out of 10, a single piece lasts the entire 14 day lifespan of the CGM! That’s with daily showers, sweating when I’m out gardening 4-5 days a week and an occasional swim. The edges will occasionally lift but I carefully cut away and that stops any further lifting. The big size allows for this!I also use over fresh tattoos for the first 3-5 days, as pictured. I apply tattoo balm to the tattoo area so it doesn’t stick to a fresh wound. It’s great for protecting the new tattoo from dirt and dust, which would otherwise stick to the tattoo balm. It’s also great for sleeping so you don’t get tattoo balm all over your sheets and risk it drying out while you’re sleeping (waking up to a dried out tattoo is pain!)I haven’t found a better value for money (and I’ve looked. Extensively.) I highly recommend these clear adhesive bandages!

I also use this product to reinforce a patch. The last time I ordered, I accidentally ordered the 3M product instead of these. I could have had 2 packages of these for the same price as 1 of the others. Also, someone said not to shower with this because water can get in. I shower and swim everyday and I have never had one leak. Simply make sure you have a good seal when you put it on.

I use these over the birth control patch which gets replaced weekly. By the end of the week, the edges of the transparent film have rolled up and are gray/gross. It's a pretty good dupe for the 3M tegaderm but not as a good for those week-long uses. Still works fine though and for the lower cost, it's acceptable!

You can see in my picture, I use this film to ensure my $100.00 sensor stays on my arm for 14 days. The film causes no reactions to me. The film is easily reinforced with a second film overlay. It comes off painlessly and I always clean the area with isopropyl alcohol after and before applications. I feel that good film sticking results from pre leaning your skin site with isopropyl alcohol. Very impressed with this product and if bought in bulk, 48 pcs, it’s cheap!

I was diagnosed with Multiple Myeloma cancer and because it's a cancer with no cure yet, I opted to get a power port for easy access for IV drugs and blood draws. I'm happy to chose this route as I can't imagine having to get an IV put in every freaking week. However, you still have to be stuck and it's not a small needle. One of my nurses suggested lidocaine cream, but to cover it with saran wrap. First of all, saran wrap is NOT the best idea. Trying to tape down the edges, messing with saran wrap that always wants to stick to itself, I mean it's messy and too time consuming.I jumped on Amazon and came across these film dressings and ordered. Wow, what a difference it makes! I glob on a huge chunk of lidocaine cream, and quickly and easily apply this film dressing over it. I do this two hours before being stuck with the needle (best time to insure I feel absolutely nothing), and then I jump into the shower to get ready for my day. No water gets past this thing once it's adhered to your body and in fact, you got to work at the edge to get a place to peel it off. It does come off easily once you get a hold of the edge though, so that's nice. This is my 3rd time ordering these due to being treated for over a year and half. I ran out and hadn't ordered yet and had to run by Walgreens for a quick fix. I think it was a NexCare brand but they were so much smaller and didn't do the job. Needless to say, I placed an order for these and promptly threw the others in the trash. This is the only film dressing I'll be using from here on out to cover my lidocaine on my port. I highly recommend them - they do everything they say!!

For those of you who have tried other brands for this product (at sometimes surreal prices), do not hesitate to get this as a replacement. The "wrapping" that each dressing comes in is slightly different, but it does what it is supposed to do - protect the dressing. The design is essentially the same, and both shipments that I ordered arrived in virtually perfect condition. Lastly, it's encouraging when companies do not try to drain every last penny from customers. So, if you need a quality dressing at a fair price, look no further.
