The description says these are made of aluminum. They are a good price, and I needed them for a transmission job, so I ordered them. Received sockets and they seemed weighty. Put a magnet to the sockets and it held! Nice surprise.

I only needed the E-torx 10 for work on my 6L80E transmission but got this whole set as it proved to be more economical this way. Usual quality Lisle tools.

Was hoping this set would be what I need for all these catalytic converter recalls on 2020+ explorers... wasn't big enough sadly. Impossible to find what the actual size is of this nut. Must be a 19mm e torx +. Back to the old deep 17mm regular socket

Excellent little sockets! Been stifling for a while to remove flywheels off the new range rover sports using sockets that end up rounding the bolts. Makes your life a lot easier!

If you're like me, a professional technician, that is one day working on a car only to find out that the manufacturer has decided, unbeknownst to you, to use a new-fangled fastener for no good reason that has put you in a pickle. It's 10am, you're pulling a trans on a 2020 poop box explorer, you come to a screeching hault because you find this awesome looking bolt. You go to your tool box, pull out your inverted torx socket... nope that won't fit. So now you wait 4 hours for the snap on guy to show up. He has the socket you need, 3 easy payments of $25 a week for the next lifetime and it's yours for the keeping. Then you move onto the next job, rear overhaul on a mustang. Your happy cause it's a simple rear overhaul and "you got this in the bag cowboy". Bring the car in, set it up on the lift and bam! Cowboy just got thrown off this steed cause now your faced with a different size (what you now know) to be an inverted torx PLUS, cause we all know plussing everything is better, amiright??Save yourself the trouble and just buy this set. It's what you need.
