Fit existing plumbing perfectly. Finish is good. Could be a little heavier. Metal seems a little thinner than I expected but overall I am pleased with this product.

This tub trim kit is all metal. Heavy and feels like it's ready to serve for many, many years. This is in stark contrast to the kits sold by the chain big box hardware store which are lighter metal and contain plastic parts. In short, for about the same money, is say by this instead of danco.This comes with a rubber gasket. However I would suggest still using plumbing putty. The installation steps are pretty straightforward. You just need the drain tool.

What can you say about a tub drain. Well, it drains....unless you don't want it too, and then it doesn't. The finish on this is nice and seems durable. I like that the drain itself includes the size adapter. Full disclosure, I screwed up and didn't look before I ordered. My overflow is a single screw and to my knowledge you can't convert the other way, so I'm not currently using the included overflow cap. However, the material is thick and has the same solid finish as the drain, so I'm sure it works as expected and should last a while. Installation is a breeze, although I do recommend you get the wrench designed for this project. It should only be about 10 bucks give or take and it makes life simpler and reduces risk of damaging the new drain. This kit does include new gaskets for both the drain and overflow which is nice as well. They seem to be pretty standard gaskets so I'm sure they'll last as well.
