This light is pretty bright. It lights up my driveway nicely. I have it mounted about six feet above the ground and parallel. It illuminates an area of about 25 or 30 feet. Would probably do better if it was higher up. I like that it is able to be tilted up or down. I think if I angle it up a bit it would light up a little bigger area. The sensor for on at night and off at dawn works well.

All the outdoor lights at my house need replacing. Squirrels did a number on them and now I find myself having to get new lights. In many spots Iโve chosen solar lights but those only work when they can collect sunlight so for those days when it is overcast, I need a good light for at night to provide extra security.This outdoor barn light gives bright light. It is a dusk-to-dawn photocell which means it will come on when it starts to get dark and turn off when it starts to get bright. That is perfect for my front driveway. It will work well for the area over my garage door and can be angled so that it will provide light on the driveway and the front entrance to my house. The higher up it is placed, the larger the area covered will be. It is built to withstand wet and cold weather (-13F to 113F) which should suit our roller coaster Montreal weather nicely.Given the very affordable price of $29.99, this is a well-built exterior barn light that will illuminate your outdoor area from dusk until dawn.

This unit is replacing a 20 year old outside night light, I don't know how much light the LEDs are going to throw, will just have to wait and see tonight. If the unit does well I might put one over the back door.

This is a very bright LED yard light in a fairly compact and lightweight package.It comes well-packed with a mounting bracket and hardware. It has a built in photo-detector under the lens for dusk to dawn operation. There does not appear to be a way to disable the dusk-to-dawn function, though I'm not sure why you would want to.The housing is made of lightweight cast aluminum and seems pretty sturdy. Additionally, the entire assembly can be mounted on a tubular conduit extension (not included) if desired.I tested the lamp by mounting it in a bench vise in my garage, oriented as it would be normally installed. I found the top heat sink surface got quite hot when checking with an infrared thermometer -- between 82 degrees C to 99 degrees C, after one hour in a 0 degrees C ambient temperature. I think this is probably normal for such a high power LED light to dissipate the heat. Just something to keep in mind in case there is something heat sensitive, like vinyl siding or something, depending on where you mount it.I will be mounting this on my friend's garage to illuminate his driveway. This will be VERY bright.Obviously, I can't attest to the longevity, but given the large heatsink area on the back of the light, I think it should last a few years. If so, given the low price, I won't complain.All in all, for the current price of $30, I'd say this is a decently made light with a very high output.

This light is built without excess materials. I installed it and it works as expected. I can't testify to the longevity but I have no complaints.
